I hate the jr high gang mentality of GIant Bomb sometimes. You can tell in Quicklooks and Bombcasts when one person has an opinion that's different and they don't want to go against the group and say it. They're like "This game is sooo stupid" and then they realize the climate is favorible and they're like "oh, I mean, it's actaully pretty good". THis game looked pretty good and everyone knew ...

You'll probably need to keep in mind that Symphony of The Night got most of it's cues from Metroid. If you look at it the other way some areas of metroid might seem "wrong" or "ripoffs" to you. You'll be surprised how similar they are. That being said... Metroid is a different game, but it holds up just as well in my opinion.1 week ago

I'm so glad Jess shut Ryan down with the "it's for kids" argument. We ALLLL played games as kids and we didn't need to be talked down to. Why do we try to talk down to kids now? As though they can't POSSIBLY understand our "mature serious adult" games

Wow... Vinny does a really good Quick Look. I'm surprised because whenever he's riding shotgun he's super annoying and trying to be funny. I have no problem with the GB crew being funny... it's when they're TRYING that makes me want to poke out my eyes
