When's the Jan produced pokemon scalpers mockumentary?

I liked Jan from the jump when he joined the crew, but now I don't think I could ever imagine anyone else could have been a better hire at the time.

I have to ask... @janman , what is preventing you from supporting your local comic/games/hobby shop for all your Pokemon purchases?

@spiketail: I would 1000% prefer to do that! Unfortunately a lot of the stores here in the Bay either have low stocks or charge a lot more than retail for most items at this point.

I've never played any Pokemon game in my life, but I absolutely loved Jan's Pokemon Adventure.

I work at Target and hate these people with a burning passion.

These people can't be shamed because they have none. They used to spend literally all day just hanging out in the Toys or Girls department waiting around for the vendor, like a bunch of fucking creeps. We started the Virtual Line because we were tired of all the complaints by people who were actually shopping.

We're also limiting it to one item per guest, not "one of each".

They're also not allowed to camp out anymore.

I love Jan's story, but man...I feel really bad for the people who work there and have to deal with this nonsense.

My son is named Halden (same spelling as that Scavengers character). I've never seen it used as a name before... cool.

With the state of that car, really feels like if Scion Paul doesn't fix it soon he'll end up being Wheelchair Paul lol

@vinny Unfortunately those Scion mirrors don't fold. Mine was left dangling from the wires when someone swiped it driving past. Also just taped it up to keep it in place before I glued it back in.

Poor Target manager - having to deal with all these scumbags as well as COVID. Stay in school kids!

Jan, your Pokemon card stories are like one bad box away from becoming the plot of Uncut Gems. Next thing you know a famous basketball player is going to ask to hold your shiny Salandit during a game so they'll perform better.

Jan mentioned both the Paul bros and Post Malone during the Pokemon bit which made me realize its basically a bunch of people my age who fell ass backwards into money buying shit that was popular when we were kids. i want to see a zoombinis comeback next

So glad to see a little bit of Dreams coverage. I hope Jeff keeps his word and continues to show off some more stuff in Dreams. There is a ton of really cool creations. Blessing Adeoye Jr. over at Kinda Funny recently put up a segment highlighting some of the best in Dreams right now. Anyone interested should definitely check it out!

Jan has a gift for seeing the drama in normal human interactions. This is almost as good a story as the guys out front of the coffee shop.
