Alt+F1: 65 - United States GP 2015

I found 'Dirty' Dan's presence was surprisingly refreshing especially providing both a layman viewpoint as well as the 'Dan' perspective. Not to mention the chemistry between the Dans is always on point. Obviously Drew/Dan combo is the way to go but the odd special guest does help mix things up. I would one day like to see a Jeff version, that would be a sight to see.

I love Dan, and I figured this is what the surprise that Danny hinted at was going to be, and I was VERY excited. But Dan seems like he had no interest in engaging with this on any level at any point. What a shame.

Maybe we can get Jeff or Brad in on this at some point. Really missed opportunity. I was even excited further while watching race, figuring that it was such a great race for a first timer to watch, how fortunate that we get the Dan Rykert episode for THIS race, and it's the USA race!

Oh well. Thanks for making sure there was an ep this week guys.

Fair about the rich people thing. HOWEVER its a bunch of rich people spending their money and effort on really really dumb shit like cars that go really fast you might die in. That is the kind of rich people stuff I can be down with!

All the drama that goes on around F1 is really hilarious to me as an american where our sports coverage is far more.... positive and focused on heroic story telling, watching how antagonistic the media for F1 is was at first really grating but now I just laugh at all the assholes.

Hey Dan, if you feel f1 might not be down to earth enough for you, why not look up its head, Bernie Ecclestone? A billionaire, fascist, misogynistic, nazi sympathizer, with a head of hair to rival Phil Spencer. I'm sure you'd love him.

This was actually a lot of fun to listen to. I listen to the show but watch like 2 races a year, so I still have a pretty rudimentary understanding of all this stuff.
