Can just like basically break the game and travel in big groups coordinating....making it impossible for the imposters.

I don't know why, but my first thought upon seeing this game was "man, the characters they are playing as really look like the astronaut from Xeodrifter!"

Honestly this seems kind of flat and boring as far as mafia/werewolf type games go. I think something like TTT would be a lot more enjoyable where you can switch to local proximity voice chat. Plus you can't do something silly like try and shove a body behind a couch and hope no one sees it.

Yah, after that first round I've got to give this game a complete pass. it looks like it would be plenty of fun to play, but as a vehicle for watching the GB cast play together? Long periods of silence, and gameplay which is exceedingly dull to watch is kinda..whatever.

Like, to me there are already multiple games of this type out there with a lot more interesting mechanics and better 'viewer experience'. Heck, even just watching the group play a digital or tabletop simulator version of mafia/werewolf would be loads of fun. This? Hard pass for me. Which is a shame cause replace the game with almost anything else and this is spot on -exactly- the kinda content I want to see more of!

Maybe next time it'll appeal to my personal tastes. Hopefully those who enjoyed this got plenty more out of it then I have.

@bladededge: there's plenty of streamers who can make this game fun to watch. and that's even when they mute the chat entirely during the moving around part of the game and only allowing people to talk when there are voting or when they're dead. The issue isn't entirely the game, but the way GB streams games. their format doesn't work well for this game and streaming it.

I love these kinds of games. Always devolve into recrimination and vengeance. A lot of these nights would end like Brad's story, one person just constantly being murdered by misguided mob justice, two people constantly arguing for the other to be killed by the mob. It's great. They've not done the obvious thing of killing the one person and then demanding the other person to die if that isn't the killer/monster

I had to stop watching this, cause it was too hard to watch. The lack of understanding by the crew regarding what you can and can not do, the point of the game, and the rules was upsetting. It's a deduction game where you deceive people if you are the imposter.

If you want to see the game played properly I suggest xqc's later youtube videos. Highly entertaining.

this was so great. really had some avalon/table top game vibes with the group and accusing just led to very funny moments. vinny is the new agent 47

Nice to see the return of group content. Although thanks to Jan I started getting into Monster Hunter World (well.. I have like 20+ hours in it at this point) and I was really looking forward to playing along because that game has so many weird quirks that veterans in the chat could illuminate for me.

Really fun vid! Once everyone finally listened to Ben on not talking(about actions in the game), I could tell the crew had a lot more fun and understood the game better.
