This is definitely my favorite episode of their Bloodstained playthrough. Never change, Vinny. =D

ok the shortcut issue. my weapon disappeared too after i reloaded my game.

you have to delete every shortcut you want to change.

if even if you have heretical grinder equipped. I press delete and still assigned grinder (on slot 1)

Nobody could've anticipated Vinny would be horny.

Oh weird, the shortcut trick worked for all the equipment except the weapon. That's annoying.

It looks like you have to set your weapon on each shortcut in addition to the shards you want to change.

first off 30 seconds in and this episode is already amazing. secondly at the 6:40 mark vinny says 'fusing episode' is that just a deep cut to the P4 endurance run? cause if so, kudos sir, kuuuuudos

I've gotten the shortcut trick to work temporarily for the weapon, but it's very flaky. It works for a while, but then suddenly starts unequipping the weapon. You then have to delete the shortcut and remake it to fix it. Setting a weapon on each shortcut is the best option, unfortunately.

As a ginger, I would throw Dan in the trash!

This game is dope as hell, and not eating food because I didn't understand that it gave permanent buffs made it a hell of a lot harder until I finally tried it like 85% of the way through. So kudos to Dan for saving Vinny from that.

However, boo Dan, Vinny doesn't need the Crissaegrim. No one does. It breaks the game completely. Lightsaber is good enough!

Okay, I clearly spoke too soon, Vinny intends never to eat food. Well, some series get finished and some don't!

The ginger is there to cleanse your mouth between different flavours of nigiri/sashimi. It's like smelling coffee beans between colognes, or brushing your teeth between different brands of orange juice.

I'm with Dan. Throw that pickled ginger and wasabi right in the trash. I don't need to cleanse my palliate. I can taste the fish just fine. Ginger based cookies are great though. While we're at it, stop putting lemon on fish.

Definitely my favourite Stainia so far; Vinny was on rare form. I was at the drink-spitting stage a couple of times during this.

A further sign that the world is upside down - Mr Dan Ryckert bringing logic and order to proceedings. Yikes!

EDIT - Yeah, as someone who only found out in last episode's comments about the shortcut trick, it's just as flaky with me. I ended up favouriting the most used shards (which makes them rise to the top of the menu list) and just changing them from the menu.

Oh yeah, I totally forgot about that you can favorite items to make them rise to the top of the list. This will save a lot of time.

I typically put the ginger right on the sushi and the wasabi on the ginger and eat the whole thing like that. I greatly enjoy the taste of the ginger in combination with the sushi.

If you eat it any other way you are wrong, there is only one right way and it is the dumb way I've conceived and will fight you on Twitter about it.

Also for the love of Gebel someone tell Vinny you get permanent stat boosts for eating meals.

Pickled ginger is a palette cleanser you damned apes.

Vinny, In order to keep your weapon from unequipping when you switch shortcuts... You have to eat food for a permanent stat bonus ;-)

You know, we've all seen chat being annoying. Hell, we've all been annoying in the chat, probably. But sometimes I wish that if the chat was annoying the people on the stream, that maybe they'd just not look at chat at all instead of getting clearly annoyed with chat and being snarky about it. Nobody on either side of the video benefits in a positive way from that.

Wasabi and ginger give you permanent stat boosts so don’t throw them away.

I can tell none of you guys have experienced real wasabi. Most places (especially in the US) use horseradish with coloring and a few other things, hence the strong flavor. The real deal isn't even remotely overwhelming. And you'll know if is real if it's served to you fresh, ground up right before you.

I eat the little pickled ginger slices one at a time after I eat all the sushi. Because no one has ever filled up on sushi and it’s a good mouth activity.

Because it's a scarf that looks like bat wings. If someone asked you for "cat ears," would you scalp a cat for them?
