Yay! I was just recently rewatching the first Blue Bombin', as I started playing the Megaman collection, and I was wondering when ya'll would do another one of these.

Finally, we get to the good Mega Man!

The movie Vinny was talking about is called The Endless. I watched it a few weeks ago and it has a really good premise and I totally recommend it. The writer/director/stars of the movie wrote a short movie staring side characters that appear in The Endless dealing with the issues they were dealing with in their short movie which is a fun little piece if you have seen them both.

Every time I saw Alex respawn under that ladder in Tomahawk Man's stage, I hoped he'd actually use the Jet to fly up to it. It was not to be.

These streams are much more fun to watch when the game is interesting enough to hold the attention of everyone there. MegaMan is so boring to watch being played compared to games like Contradiction, Until Dawn and TLC.

As a fan of the series of Mans who are Mega, and a person who did jump through doors. I don't care about the door thing, and people's reaction to the door thing makes me wish they would patch it so you died if you tried to jump through a door.

As someone that's seen it recently, Red Sonja is TERRIBLE. And not in a good way.

I'm glad we're back at this. I really enjoy these.

@alex HOT TIP: on all these classic style Mega Man games, when you're on ice, if you want to stop slipping from momentum, tap the jump button (don't hold a direction). You'll stop moving horizontally!

The movie talk at the end was great. Need more of that! Personally, I like The Sum Of All Fears, but apparantly the book was way better.

And I also hated A Quiet Place. So many dumb things. Personally, I dont understand how someone could have ever have hit the nail UPWARDS like that, let alone be it completely unnecessary! 5/10 I hardly remember the rest of the film, aside from the lack of thought was put in it.

The Chronicles of Riddick: Director's Cut is awesome.

Hearing Dan talk about how he didn't know there was water underneath the ice during the submarine conversation and that his first time eating Tuna was last night because he was too afraid to eat and or prepare it...that Tuna required some chemical reaction with mayo to be edible, I died a little bit inside.

@curufinwe: agreed. I honestly think mega man is fine but they dont seem interested in engaging with it like they do other games from previous series

I found Resolution and The Endless both to be pretty frustrating watches in the moment, but ended up really liking what they ended up actually being. I'd recommend them both. Resolution especially has some great dialog.

WARNING! TEETH STUFF AHEAD:

@danryckert As someone who had to get a dental implant as a replacement for a broken front tooth, it's not actually that bad. They do essentially screw a metal post into your skull, which has to be left alone to integrate with your bone for a few months - I believe it was 3 months for mine. Sounds horrific - but now I can say that I had that done which is cool.

In the interim, they'll put a temporary crown on it for safety and cosmetic purposes and instruct you to only use it for chewing sparingly and carefully, or even not at all. Once the time is up, they'll pop that temp one off (which was actually the scariest - and smelliest! - part), fit the new base onto the screwed-in post, then cement(?) the actual molded tooth onto that. Mine feels like a regular tooth but smoother and bites perfectly well.

I was actually in a position where I was seriously weighing the possibility of just going full implants because everything was in very bad shape, but was quickly told why that's a bad idea and only a last-last-last resort. Losing your underlying dental bone structure would be a huge change in how your mouth and jaw area is constructed, and can have extreme consequences as far as how your body adjusts (or doesn't). Also it's INCREDIBLY FUCKING EXPENSIVE.

Not sure why the Abby hate towards Crash and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri; both fantastic movies that show the dangers of bigotry and xenophobia in the lives of interconnected society.

I guess that's just not her thing.

Dan needs to retire his shtick.

They should change the name of this from Blue Bombin’ to “Alex the Robot Child who goes pew pew.”

Yeah, except, neither of those movies do those things. They purport to, but they fail. Crash especially.

Grass, Desert, Water, Giant, Sky, Ice, Pipe, and the Lava. That, I believe, is the order of the world in Super Mario Bros. 3. Ice world comes after Sky, Dan!
