I listen to Friday shows on Sunday night at work & watch Mondays live or later.

I usually just download and listen to the audio version, but yes, I and other people occasionally watch them. Especially when they have guests on the show, it's nice to see their expressions, as the audio doesn't always tell the whole story.

On the topic of games to play, I finally played Brothers, have Gone Home sitting on my Steam account unplayed. I have Bioshock Infinite on PS3 unplayed. And I have access to The Last of Us and GTA5 on PS3 and need to play them. And that doesn't include games that aren't necessarily "great" like Dead Space 3 on Origin and Shadow Warrior on Steam.

But first, I think I want to play The Wolf Among Us and get back to sailing the high seas and pirating.

FF9 was my first one, nostalgia didn't factor into it. Try again!

The last side thing I needed to do in ACIV was bring down the four Legendary Ships and I did that last night. Now it's time to wrap up the story.

Plus, as someone who's favourite is also 9, in the UK FF7 was our first ever Final Fantasy release so... there was nothing to get nostalgic about anyway!

Snowboard Kids, pssh. Coolboarders was where it was at! I enjoy that Scoops is still dumping on FF9 fans, I wouldn't expect anyone to bang the drum so hard for 8.

My understanding is that the Warcraft movie is the story from the first two RTS games, which seems easily translatable to a fantasy film. That means basically focusing on orcs and humans (no pandaren alex) and the opening of the dark portal/medivh.

Amazing game on sociopolitical, psychological, word-of-mouth, older-British-newspeople-are-even-interested-in-it, and just pure stressful levels.

Shows the power of empathy that videogames have over any other artistic medium that can't quite put you into someone else's shoes like this. First game where I paid attention to moral choices and a branching narrative.

@sfighter21: i do- i actually started paying attention to GB because i liked patrick from when he was on Feedback in the G4 days. i do not, however, share his philosophy on final fantasy. IX being superior to VIII as everyone knows.

Isn't FFVIII the soap opera one centering on the 'love' between those Squall and black haired girl, and the characters all grew up in an orphanage, but forgot because of magic? I like you, Patrick, but as for that being the best the series has to offer... nope. FFVII and FFX are really the only ones that matter as far as impact and continued popularity go. You will never see a FFVIII movie or sequel, not to say Square's sequel work was all that great for either game, but there's a reason the picked what they did to continue to capitalize on.

I just have to say that, as somebody who has worked for several years in an industry that does a lot of access control, Papers, Please was probably the closest anybody could ever get to actually simulating something I've spent thousands of hours doing.

How the fuck is GT6 not that bad? Half of those cars cost 20,000,000 in-game Cr. That would take like 2 weeks to earn enough for one car. Forza 5 is perfectly fine, nothing is forced on you and there's only a few cars that require a bunch of in-game credits but this series has been no different since Forza 2. GT6 has so many more problems than Forza 5 does. Most aspects of that game(gt6) feel like they could have been in something in 1998. I'm halfway through the campaign of Forza and haven't had to do any grinding whatsoever, you win enough credits from the events to buy whatever you need to progress. I don't really get what people are fussing about.

Brokenfield 4 is not better than Brothers.
