The following link shows what the "lightbox" looked like and also the robots they used heavily to control and cameras and move certain parts of the rig/props.

When Bullock got ready for a shoot in the lightbox, apparently the overhead to get in and out and setup shots in this rig meant she did very long stints in the lightbox.

The robotic cinematography was provided by Bot & Dolly. They have also done work for Microsoft in a number of promotions such as Halo Reach and Xbox 360 ads. You can find that on their "media" page.

My favorite work by them is a new piece they did called "Box". It speaks for itself, check it out!
