I finally started in on the chilice dungeons about 2 weeks ago. I'm struggling to get past a level 4 dungeon so I'm getting a little afraid I won't finish

I can't believe how Brad continues to make small accomplishments so god damn tense and amazing.

But during his victory, my hands were on my head and I was kicking air out of anxiety. It was grand.

wait is he only on amygdala? that's a looong way to go for the plat then. I haven't been following but, don't expect this to be completed. Rad tho. when I fought Amy I won the first time, but not out of skill, it just got stuck in a wall or animation loop or sometghing and I was underneath it and could just attack for days

*fast forwards through video because I thought the episode would be all amygdala*.. wait did they just quit the boss fight? *rewinds back* no way... he beat it? *starts from beginning* WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST WATCH. That was so amazing and stressful. After this the other dungeons are a breeze. Just getting that full life bar back should be rejuvenating.

So I'm still not sure what Brad is trying to do. It feels like each boss is the end, until he beats them and keeps going.

Whoa, there's some audio crackling at the start of this video as well. What is UP with the equipment at GBHQ? It's been like this for weeks, it feels like.

I hate to say it, but I didn't find it to be the case that it's 'all downhill from here'. The Pthumerian Descendant (the next boss) was literally the worst boss in the game for me. I gave up after a day of trying and rang the bell for help.

I thought Amygdala was really easy. You need to realize that not ever boss is defeated with circle strafing. If you just back up and bait out the smash you can get a jump attack on the head which can lead to a stun.

To echo @elcidtmax, I'm not sure it actually gets any easier after Amygdala. I'm currently stuck on Pthumerian Descendant, and I'm afraid if I go back I'll just throw my controller again. To be fair, my time has been completely consumed by The Witcher 3 since that game came out.

It's interesting to read through comments and see which boss gave people the most trouble. Brad you got this don't give up!

@maedhros925: If you are okay with vitality on that character, see if you have something like a potion that can make you sturdier, hint hint.

And the bosses giving me the most crap in BB? Rom is a pile of BS with meteor spam, BSB's grab gets me, Martyr Logarius is still a poopoohead, Ebritreas is just horrible. That's it. I'll dance with Watchdogs and Amygdala any time I get successfully summoned into a dungeon.

(General BB PSA: Want more fun? In a dungeon? Ring your beckoning bell, there are a lot of us who are happy to come in and assist no matter what dungeon you're in!)

Didn't really care for this boss. Baiting the slams and knocking him on the head got old quick for me, especially with his crazy range. Can't wait for Brad to tackle some of the more enjoyable (imo) but still difficult fights. Loran Darkbeast & Abhorrent Beast in particular should be interesting.

Reading the comments, I'm surprised by how many people are still stuck on the chalice dungeons. It is a shitty, shitty grind but I didn't find them to be too difficult. I'd still get hit plenty but I never was below 15ish vials. I guess the prior Souls experience shows!

bloodborne is so better than ds1. i mean, they're both bad games imo but still prefer bloodborne of the two!

I think my sphincter contracted so tightly that it became a black hole because holy shit that Amygdala fight

I cheesed it and made it constantly jump since the beginning of the fight--the position in the first two phases allows for some good-ass KIRKHAMMER TO THE HEAD--so I knew how to treat the third phase, but that was still stressful as hell.

Goddammit, Brad! That was too good!

Good episode. Nice to see Brad making some actual progress rather than dying 30 times in a row to the same boss. Can't wait to see him fight the Headless Bloodletting Beast. That ought to be really interesting to watch.
