E3 2011: Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Stage Demo

Looks absolutely brilliant. But that was expected.

Ah yeaaah.

Walking animation could use some work, but that water looks sensational.

Oh Nathan Drake, how will you nearly escape certain death next?!

The demo looked like a generic action/adventure game without Lara Croft.
 
It even had a QTE. Lame!

So good, cannot wait. I was really expecting some Marco Polo action when he went by the pool.

and the "generic action/adventure game WITH Lara Croft" had QTEs. so what?

As opposed to bolted to the ground Gears of War action with QTEs?

it looked more like Uncharted 2.5, but I don't have a problem with that

Looks great. I feel the quick time events are warranted. Nobody wants to control an underwater sequence, so the QTEs look like good ways to add tension to that moment.

Looks great but I really hope they change the sound of some of the guns.

At this point, Tomb Raider looks better D:

Animations do look a little weird, a bit floaty, but something that'll naturally be ironed out by the time of release. Looks like some traditional Uncharted, though, which translates to bloody fantastic! Especially glee'd at the bit when Nate pulled the pin off the guys grenade and kicked him back @4:09 as a kind of melee finisher.

Water physics are super sexy.

E3 2011 really is the year of the boat.

Wow, why demo those grenade throwing animations when they are so terrible right now?  I assume they'll be fixed before release.  
 
Not convinced it's a day one buy for me yet, but I'll definitely play it eventually.

This is what was suppose to happen in mgs2.

Looks ok I guess, I think they could have spent some more time with the light bulb and skirting board models though.

Man that pistol sounds terrible.

Looks like some animation frames are missing. Hope they fix that, it's kinda irritating to me.

Still can't wait, should be a great game.
