E3 2012: Far Cry 3 Demo

Looks great. Far Cry without Malaria is relevant to my interests.

I skipped over Far Cry 2 but I'll probably get back in with this one.

Love those painted nipples.

You should really play FC2, it still stands up and it's a brilliant game.

I liked Far Cry 2 because it was open and it let you roam around playing how you wanted yet almost all they've shown of Far Cry 3 is scripted nonsense and acid trips. I can't help but feel they're hiding weak gameplay when they're resorting to sexual pandering and Vaas saying f*** 100 times a minute while you engage in extremely limited combat and enter long,nonsensical cutscenes.

@R3DT1D3: You do have a point. I was wondering why put this kind of content in the demo. If they're trying to play off the idea of insanity, they kind of succeeded. Proper judgement can't be said until the game is out. I'm holding out until then.

I really liked far cry 2, apart from enemy respawn issues at those stupid checkpoints.

I have a feeling it will have some kind of Fight Club ending. Mark my words :P.

I hope the story is long, because they seem to be showing a lot of the single player.

It looks pretty fun actually. Definitely year of the bow. I'm not complaining though, I love bow and arrows in games.

Proof of the arbitrary nature of the ESRB. They make Giant Bomb put age gates on game trailers but not this.

Looks great except for the crazy hallucinations stuff.

I never did like acid of mushrooms.

This game looks really interesting and wild. Its definately different than the run of the mill shooter.

I was hopping to use this to help my kids improve their throat-stabbing technique, along with an introduction to general machine gun handling. But the painted nipples are too inappropriate for young children.

That chick at the beginning reminds me of Neytiri from Avatar. Also, that's just a very good looking game. I think the swearing is pretty annoying, I did when I first heard it, and still do.

I feel like Arkham Asylum influenced this game's direction with the whole crazy villain thing. I'm cautiously optimistic

Gameplay looks like it's ripped straight out of Cawadoody.

Vaas is actually your shadow and this is really Persona 5.

I'm concerned impressionable children will start painting their nipples due to this game. Ubisoft..why have you done this?

Coming back to this almost a year later I don't begrudge anyone who thought this game was gonna suck.

all the stuff they show looks very linear and plain boring, but MAN was I wrong in the end.
