I wonder how many consumers learned from their mistakes and will look at the Wii U and say "Yeah, you're not fooling me twice"

I liked the last one, I'd like this one too if I bought another Nintendo console ever again.

Me. Never buying Nintendo because of lack of quality games, and never buying Microsoft again because of lack of quality hardware.

Looks like a better 3d version of the last super mario bros. game that came out not too long ago, hard to get too excited about it with that one so nearby. The charm of the last one was how long it was between it & the previous ones like it on the wii, this just feels like more of the same almost like the annual sequels of other games (with minor changes apart from the new system).

Hey, I don't care if it's lazy. I had a ton of fun with 4-player Mario before, and I'm ready for more.

They can keep making the same game every year, just come up with a decent name for something once a generation.

How boring. That's all I think when I watch this. Time, money, new hardware, new possibilities and they give people this?

Well, the people will eat it up any ways I guess, so why bother even trying. Right Nintendo?

I had some of my favourite moments in this last generation playing New Super Mario Bros. Wii and I am psyched to relive them again on the WiiU again. They haven't sold me completely on the console yet but with this, Pikmin 3, ZombiU and Rayman Origins I am definitely interested.

Do we really need two NSMB games around the same time?

That it's another 2D Mario doesn't bother me. I love 2D platformers.

That it looks like the monstrously overrated NSMBW, with its terrible level design centered around tech-demoing a level editor that a) can rotate terrain and objects and b) is mysteriously not available to the public, is what bothers me.

If enough OTHER games make me thirst for a WiiU, I'd consider grabbing this. Otherwise, not getting my money. Steam alone is filled with great -- and better -- 2D platformers. I don't need Nintendo to get my fix, and haven't for years.

EDIT - Put a level editor in and give it LBP-isms, Big N, and I'll consider it. Very strongly.
