E3 2013: Our First Day on the Floor

I can't find anywhere to ask this question. All of the videos of THE CREW show the screen cropped and a picture in picture of all the other people in your group (or whatever) ... has there been any videos or trailers showing this is NOT the way the game is going to display the action? It looks TERRIBLE and I hope it is just being done for E3 but it looks like part of the game ...

These are always so well edited. Personal highlight of E3 for me every year.
