Honestly, i would rather have a host that loves games, then a bunch of ceos just talking for an hour. UBIsoft is the one conference i get excited about year after year.

Yeah, she is actually pretty funny in other stuff she does and she actually is excited about games, instead of some suit pretending to be excited about them. Most of the other people talking during these conferences come off as extremely awkward and fake, especially now that Jack Tretton is gone.

Yeah, not all of the jokes work but when you are being highly restricted over what you can say or do, have to be excited and happy even if what's being shown is lame, and need to constantly ad-lib when things don't go as planned, I think she does a pretty admirable job. Don't understand the hate.

I don't understand it either. She does do an admirable job, which is why she gets invited back all the time. The hate is misplaced. The guys even mention in the video that anyone that goes on stage to do her job will lose some realness, and will be forced into situations that aren't ideal.

Anyone that's watched a few award ceremonies like the Oscars knows how absolutely mind numbing a tightly-produced super hype show can be with bad hosting. Aisha Tyler does a good job at preventing that.

I mean, you could have had EA's press conference again.

I agree with most of the other commentators, the presentation style was awkward, although it was mostly due to the script. But that's always the case at these events. The more interesting thing about this video was the fact that the GB crew felt the need to defend Aisha instead of criticizing her (as they would do with most hosts) because... reasons.

Hey Bombcrew - Thanks for doing these, I really like this new approach to covering all the press conferences. We get the information and its context/importance, combined with you guys' special brand of insight and snark. Big thumbs up!! (And that goes for allllll the "talking over" press coverage vids)

I love the fact that the staff throws quips non-stop left and right the entire press conference, then go into an utter silence at around 55:25 once they realize this is a sad dog story. No one can deal with sad dog stories. @rorie knows.

That song they used in The Crew was used for a sad gay marriage ad in Australia if I recall correctly
