I transcribed this for a small a capella group at my college but we never sang it. One of my biggest regrets.

Growing up with these games, it always baffles me the way people pick and choose entries. I could see having favorite bosses and levels, but saying some games are worse seems odd. They're kind of all the same, right? Maybe I'm not remembering some important details.

From what I can recall the arctic dudes in Gi Joe were Frostbite, Avalanche, Iceberg (who mutated into a killer whale), and Snow Job (love the guy but that name). There was a Stalker that had a white jacket and kayak that also might have been intended to be an arctic Joe.

EDIT - Oh man forgot Blizzard. He was in the GI Joe game. I hand in my Gi Joe fandom.

The revelation that Vinny was haunted by a demon as a child really explains some things... >.>

Edit: Also, love seeing some Mega Man action on GB. I would LOVE to see something like this with the first X game, but I doubt they have the same nostalgia for it that I do. While I played both around the time they came out, my memory of X is more vibrant and it remains one of those few video games that I can replay on a regular basis.

I hate it when people commenting on a gameplay video talk about how something made out to be hard on a video is actually not that hard... but yeah, that Quickman stage isn't that hard, even without the flash weapon. You can see where he hesitated every time.

This concludes my most dickheadish post in site history.

Haha, yea. I remember it being hard when I was little kid, but as an adult I could get through it perfectly fine without the Flash Man weapon. Perhaps he's just stuck a bit in playing it the way he did when he was young. He seems to rely heavily on the powers, which can make the game easier; however, if you're used to using the buster all the time, your general ability in the game goes up. I think I rarely ever used the powers, for some reason.

I rented this game so many times as a kid. I would beat all the bosses until Quick Man and could not progress further. Eventually, I managed to finish the game in my teens.

Remarkably, this game still has some of the best level design and music I've experienced in my gaming life.
