 Wow, what an incredible story.  Just going back to some of the references in earlier episodes and seeing it all come together is amazing.  I was pretty much in awe watching the cutscenes this episode, so much messed up stuff.  
 
I was like... No, Kaysen didn't ACTUALLY do what I think he did to Emily did he? Nah... i mean, they can't have that happen to her can they?... oh.. oh god he did... noooooooo!

also I think the reason Emily was saying Zach in the end was that York/Zach had blocked out that name with York because it was the persona he made up and anything pertaining to Zach he switched with York.  

I am seriously glad that I had the honor to watch this and I hope it comes out on PC and I hope we get another one of the SAME QUALITY "

That last boss fight was some Bayonetta/DMC crazyness! Climbing onto people and stuff!

Nice movie-esque slowmo scene of Zach walking away from dying Kaysen at the end of the fight.  Redemption for him.

I'm still confused. Who the fuck is Kaysen and why was he in York/Zachs house to begin with, and why did no one think to fucking shoot Kaysen. Also was there an alternate ending where Emily lives?

This is fleeping amazing! It's so weird and unexpected! They even fit the "hair suddenly turning white" thing in from Twin Peaks. There was even a little Shadow Of The Colossus moment and everything!

I am really sad it's over :(

Hahahaha, that final boss is so exactly like something Deadly Premonition would do...oh man...I really have no fucking Idea what I think of this game anymore...
 
I will say this though, the Zack/York twist? Well played.

That was fucking crazy. I guess I'm glad I wasn't behind the controls, but I got into it. The whole Zach/York thing was nicely resolved and explained. I think... right?

This is what I think happened York was York before he was traumatized... and now he's Zach but he's too traumatized to face the truth that "he" remembers and he resorts to York to function. Him going after Kaysen is his destiny that his father left him. 
 
The story that someone failed in one life but comes back victorious in the next is a sort of cliche plot, as I remember it being done several times before and I had a deja vu about it.  (Or it might be that this game is so great that it just made the deja vu itself... You know like sometimes your so focused in something that you can feel or sense the "idea" behind it?)
But this game felt so weird and it did all the things it had to do correctly that it ended up giving emotions and reach sublime beauty. 
 
It feels kind of neo-fairy tale esque.

Mysteries (and similarly the "invisible monster" horror movies) are like magical tricks or placebos - they work that well because the audience's imagination takes what little is given to it and constructs the rest far more impressive than the original creator probably ever could.

The moment the writers try to come up with a specific explanation/depiction it more than often turns into a hilariously ridiculous clusterfuck or a boring cop out (Nanomachines anyone?). 

I don't think York introduces himself as York. Emily has heard of Zach before when they talked in his hotel room so she must have recognized him coming out of York as Zach. Now the hair color change I'm not sure about. Maybe it was imagined or maybe his hair really did come back to "psychological trauma" hair mode.

This is so great. If it wasn't for the clunky looking controls and game mechanics, I could see this as a real contender for a GOTY. I mean, the story is pretty well written, most of the voice acting is top notch, and it has been crafted together into a really good adventure. All of the foreshadowing for instance. More games should have crazy stories like this.

I'm so glad you guys went of the effort of playing this crazy shit, because I never would have.

Have to give SWERY their due, they can tell a story (no-matter how insane) better then some of the biggest games out there. Might have it's problems, but Deadly Premonition deserves some credit.  
 
Makes me hope for a sequel actually.... what's that? Is that Jeff, Ryan, Vinny and Brad shouting NOOOOO!
