The intro to this game was so shocking to me. I was very interested to see how Abby and Vinny would react, and it's basically exactly what I expected. That "oh... I don't like this at all" moment. Yeesh. Very spooky game nonetheless, glad Abby's braving it for us.

I always thought this was pronounced Vis-arge. Like the french word. The internet suggests most ppl pronounce it like Vin and Abby tho.

@alternate: It's funny, but classically, the word has different pronounciations depending on which meaning for the word you're using.

The way they're pronouncing it here is correct, as it most likely describes a countenance, someone's face and the way they look at that moment.

The pronounciation you were using more accurately describes the look of, or the impression given off by, a place for instance.

Very few people will go as far as to distinguish between the two these days, but if you watch a classical play, you'll hear the different uses of the word.

I'm pretty happy y'all aren't playing more VR games, tbh. Obviously, VR can be more immersive and do make for some really great reaction shots. But even though I don't get motion sick from video, watching someone else' VR experience always just seems kinda confusing and hard to follow. Add to that all the control issues with that small studio setup you guys have, and I ended up just not watching much of last year's content at all, which is a real shame.

@ashton: Same here. They were going "There is another person" and "How many people are there" but I saw pure blackness.

This was a pretty tame start! Abby didn't get the camera which was a nice gimmick in the LP that I saw, but no can do. Hopefully things will ramp up from here!

it was almost entirely black except for the flashes of the gun, which I think was intentional. You could only briefly see a person. The "more people" thing was from the screaming voices.

I know this game is going for a PT vibe, but the "random paranormal events" thing reminds me more of the Dreamcast "classic" Illbleed.
