Just going to say this: Vinny is a crazy. I don't really use the pee hole because I find it prone to problems, but of course that is what it is there for. I will not stand for this absurd idea that it is part of the manufacturing process!

Also, my goodness the Gamescom segue was a work of art.

I will not take this Ori slander from Alex. By next weeks show I demand a formal apology, coupled with an adequate amount of prostrating to the upper limits of 5-7 minutes. I will also require a hand written card and a box of chocolates. You have ONE WEEK Alex!

I tried looking for comfortable underwear online once but I ended up in an uncomfortable rabbit hole of jock straps and suggestive models. I know it's my problem but I didn't need to know about a gay subculture of underwear and it was almost as unnerving as that discussion.

I'll just keep buying it in a shop like I did before.

I thought the overlap was primarily there as an expansion joint like the pleats on the back of a shirt. Hence why some manufacturers end up making it harder to navigate than others.

I think Alex is really underestimating the amount of Sony "fans" who will pre-order the PS5 at ridiculous prices.

There was a scam webshop in my country where you could pre-order the PS5 and GTA6 (no, really) and an unbelievable amount of people did it without thinking. It's nuts.

The dick hole debate is not one that I knew I needed, but it was hilarious, so thanks for that.

I think Alex is 100% wrong about PS5 being an overstock or that people will not buy "scalped" consoles.. People are at home full time in most cases and are looking for an escape.. Just look at the second hand "retro" video game market, prices have sky rocketed and the demand is higher than ever. I don't see why this would not translate to a brand new console.

Someone need to message jeff to explain how 5G works, especially how the signal is blocked by... anything, trees leaves, windows, fabric... air. Or let him dream

I loved Jeff's positive outlook on streaming and his discovery that Stadia is actually some awesome technology. If more people would actually give Stadia a try before bashing it or if their only impressions weren't from opening month of the service then I think they could actually get some positive feedback on the service to improve the rest of its offerings. Hope Jeff dips back into it more in the future as no one else at Giantbomb will as they all seem to have an irrational hate towards it, I guess because its Google.

I think when it comes to PS5 launch that Miles Morales game will be enough to move units. Spider-Man stuff is just too popular.

Yes, Jeff, it has always been good, but they just under-delivered on a lot of the marketing hype, as Google usually does when it launches products. I'm looking forward to the Stadia redemption arc to slowly seep through the whole Giant Bomb crew.

@ninkendo: Also, Cuberpunk will be a prety compelling reason to get a new console straight away. I know the full next gen upgrade wont be for a while, but the base game will still perform much better on PS5/XBX. Seems like it's never bought up on GB when discussing the new consoles.

I'm partial to the O-ke-doke brand of pre-popped popcorn, specifically the hot cheese flavor. Also, dick holes are for real. Believe in them. Use them. Appreciate them.

edit: Oh man. I had to put in a vent in my bathroom when I bought this house and decided to be fancy and get one with a heater in it. I've never had a heater in a bathroom. It is soooo nice to have in the Winter.

Vinny is right. The flap is so the underwear can expand to accommodate different sizes of penises and testicles. If it were for peeing it wouldn't overlap so much.

Wow Alex is soooo negative on this console launch. I think Spider-Man alone is a strong launch game for the mass market (Sony, please show us gameplay tho). Also, I know unemployment is up, but there are still a lot of people who never stopped working (like me) due to being "essential". Day One console buyers are usually enthusiasts anyway, and I'd guess most of them have been saving money for it, if they were able to. I have the money for PS5 and I'll be damned if I have to live with my launch PS4 any longer than I must. Even if I have to pay $900 Canadian.

As for what I'll be playing on PS5.. first thing will be Astro's Playroom. Then I will go to Yakuza Like a Dragon. (I briefly considered waiting for the "coming soon" PS5 version, but I've been waiting so long for this game already, so I'll just play PS4 version via backwards compatibility)

Nice to hear Jeff talk about PGA. I'm kinda in the same boat in wanting a golf game.

Does Jeff know that he can sideload Xcloud onto his Nvidia shield? That means it will be on a wired connection which will improve the experience.

My problem with Stadia is you have to buy the games apart from the free ones you get a month, but with Xcloud you get all the games automatically and you can then download and play them locally as well.

@haneybd87: haha I use it for showering purposes. Getting out of the shower to a warmer room feels much better than a cold room in the winter.

Stadia is not a subscription service. After the free month trial, you can buy a game independently of the subscription and play that game “forever.” You don’t need to pay $10 a month to access games you’ve purchased. And unlike GeForceNow, there is no time limits to streaming. And yes, Stadia is the best streaming tech. It is comparable to playing a game locally if you don’t have potato internet.
