Very hard to watch when a person cannot get one line in a game of tetris. Really curious how the chat reacted.

I think it's time to retire battle tetris... It's so boring to watch.

@robatw: Might sound odd, but it looks like she just never played Tetris before, as Jeff had to explain to her that "line clearing" thing and even after that she kept on building strange stuff.

All Quick Looks should have a section where they are played at the lowest quality settings.

It's cool to see that there's someone out there who hasn't played Tetris. It's a good reminder that not everything we see as cultural touchstones is ubiquitous.

By the way, the level with characters you don't recognise said スーパーマリオくん２５ｔｈ, or Super Mario-kun 25th.

A game developer who's not familiar with Tetris? Blasphemy.

I wish they'd done COD on the highest quality with the lowest possible resolution... it could have looked like the ultimate SNES or PS1 game.
