@gbrading: Jam was great. Definitely weird, definitely great, definitely dark as fuck. There was a very bizarre radio spin off called Blue Jam too which I somehow managed to catch on my way to/from work due to the nature of working crazy shifts. It was a precursor to the whole Ali G thing, and the concept of wahjah.

I think The Day Today & Brass Eye were the best things Morris ever did. I am kinda blown away by the fact that Jeff is familiar with this stuff (and the quite brilliant Young Ones) though. I am surprised it made it across the pond.

Talking about weird British tv shows, I wonder if Jeff's ever seen Darkplace.

@xite: I think along with Peep Show, Darkplace was the best comedy of the last ten years. I think the making it so bad it's actually good thing must be almost impossible to get right, but they absolutely nail it. The fact that so many of the Darkplace cast went on to huge success (especially Richard Ayoade) speak volumes.

Out of context it makes no sense whatsoever, but the little look which suggests he is unsure which camera to talk to is great. :D

It's good. Wouldn't say it's really close to being up there with any of the best Tarantinos, but it has the evil snively German (Christoph Waltz) from Inglorious Basterds as one of the main characters, so it has that going for it. And Fox Cock.

i love the day today and brass eye and even the radio show on the hour but this is my favorite chris morris appearance.

No, basically everyone does not own an iOS device, also not just because your mom does (from the "We've got a WiiU"-stream).

Whenever you say that stuff, your opinion immediately losses value when you try and analyse video games and base your facts on something which is clearly incorrect.

Like when you claim that dubstep is "done". It might be, but we certainly can't take that on face value, when your other declarations about the industry are so wierd.

I have to agree about all the iOS flag waving from California based publications. If you check the latest numbers like theseyou can see clearly that Android is the big player right now. They own almost 75% of the handset market right now with Apple coming in at a "close" 14%.

I also agree that it's important to be specific when you're making a personal value judgement or when you're making a fact based analysis. It's something that makes the difference between trustworthy and punditry.

While I understand where he is coming from I do agree with your last statement. No denying Apple has a huge chunk of the phone and tablet market for one company but they are still luxury products and in no way common in every household.

I just had to pipe in and say that Matt Berry is my favorite entertainer in the world right now. He is good in everything, and he is also a great musician, with studio albums to his credit. Also check out a podcast he did for a while a couple of years ago. Extremely dry brand of comedy.
