I wasn't "happy" that Patrick left at all, but I was intrigued and a little excited to hear how the Bombcast got on with just the original four guys again. Judging by this one, it would've been great. It saddens me no end that we'll never get another episode with that whole group... but I know this show will carry on being the number 1 gaming podcast.

I started listening to this one again today, just to pretend it was a normal Tuesday, but it will never will be again.

You will be greatly missed, Ryan.

I thought the exact same thing. That whole segment feels like an utterly cruel joke by fate in retrospect. At the same time it is a testament to the quality of the humor Ryan and the crew often created, that I still think that segment is genuinely funny, listening to it now.

I live in Norway, many many miles away from SF. Yet, this is the most saddended I remember being about anyone passing away, who was not in my immediate family. Can't imagine what his friends, family and wife are going through. My deepest condolances to them all.

The more angles I approach his death from, the worse it gets. He was nothing but positive, and his death is basically only negative. He had so much going on, had so much to do, so many new games to play and talk about, leaves behind his new wife, great friends, GiantBomb won't ever be the same, the Bombcast as it was is gone, etc, etc, etc, etc.

So with Ryan gone, I guess this is the last time we get to hear some hardcore rap chats. I'm gonna miss Ryan so damn much!

May this forever be known as the Final Bomb. No, it's not the last episode of the Bombcast (far from it), but it is certainly the last episode featuring the original crew. It's an odd coincidence that Patrick had just left at this point, leaving the original quartet of Bombers to (unknowingly) record one last podcast with just the 4 of them.

Times change, people move on, but Ryan Davis will not be forgotten on this site. Here's to a great 2014, and I look forward to seeing Giant Bomb continue to excel, now and always.

Every now and then it is good to listen to this and remember to enjoy life and make the most of our time here.

Been 6 months and I still think of Ryan every single day and hate that we will never hear his voice again. Just hate it...

I miss you so much, Ryan. This podcast remains on my phone at all times so I can hear the original crew on their last show together. FUCK, I MISS HIS VOICE.
