I watched someone streaming Fortnite, they made it seem that the menus felt really confusing.

I can't believe Kingdom of loathing got a mention. I've played that game off and on for like 5 years or something now. I didn't know many folks knew about it....it's kinda awesome just hearing it spoken about aloud.

Here's a basic mechanical keyboard primer.

The Cherry MX line of switches come in at least 8 flavors with different attributes including: loudness, tactile feedback and amount of force to depress. While I don't remember what they all are there are white, gray, clear, red, blue, green, black and brown.

I have a Corsair K70 with Cherry MX Brown and it is awesome. The brown are silent with tactile feedback and moderate force. If they are still too noisy for you when they bottom out, you can add dampeners which are little rubber bands you attach to each key post which prevent the key cap from bottoming out on the key switch and making noise.

I love that even when you thought the State Fair bit was running out of gas, Jason takes up the gauntlet and shows that Minnesota has the superior dumb carny food.

The audio is always really quiet in these. I have to turn up my PC volume to max to listen comfortably. Then when I load up a game I have to turn the in-game volume down ALOT to still hear what the guys are saying.

Case in point, at the moment I have it on, the video/youtube volume slider is maxed, my Windows volume is maxed. I've got Street Fighter V on another screen and I have to have all the volume sliders in that to 1 notch to hear the guys talking.

Yo guys modesto isnt so bad ive lived there my whole life. Meth is a problem but other then that crime isnt to bad employment is decent theres a good junior college and a minor league baseball team called the nuts and its affiliated with the seattle mariners for some reason. Housing is affordable and only a 90 minute drive to sf for weekend fun or whatever.

That whole conversation about nostalgia culture (Ready Player One, etc) is really fucking interesting.

I tend to think we've just rounded the corner on postmodernism. Everything is a reference, everything is a culmination of whatever came before it, nothing exists as an island without context. We don't really need a rigid "this was the 20's, this was the 60's, this was the 80's, what is our now?" any more because it doesn't actually matter. There are no absolute truths because it turns out there never were, we just convinced ourselves otherwise.

We're a remix of a remix. It's not a bad thing, it just represents a lack of any real super structured identity beyond whatever appeals or makes some sort of rational sense to us.

I hope they give Abigail a shot on UPF, the trailers and screenshots don't do him justice. His animations and general play style is actually pretty sick. It was a pleasant surprise.

Keyboards are easy. Try different ones, pick the one you like.
Personally I like Corsair's Cherry MX Reds but I'm considering getting MX Browns.
