I do appreciate Jeff's comments regarding the importance of Yuzo Koshiro (and other elements) to Streets of Rage. The folks behind that new Wonder Boy game certainly have talent, but whether it's the right talent for this project is still up in the air. The art & visuals in the trailer look great, but in gameplay (as opposed to cutscenes/promo animation), they don't say Streets of Rage to me yet.

I'm ready to hear about these raging streets.

As the biggest Streets of Rage fan on this site (probably), I feel so numb and confused about what to think.

coffee is the correct complimenting drink to have with donuts.

dunking is not at all a requirement. it makes the insides soggy? the texture of the donut is definitely nicer (IMO) without the sog, thanks. instead, just alternate between sipping and biting. have a bite, have a sip. have a sip, have a bite. get the flavours of both without altering the texture of perfection that is > the donut <.

Dumb question, is there anything different from the premium podcast compared to the standard plebcast other than being ad free? I typically use my app to listen so I've never looked into any other differences.

Also, TI8 was amazing. The turmoil and drama surrounding OG before winning it all in two back-to-back comebacks was amazing. Before TI, they were ranked dead last in a fairly popular TI8 Power Ranking. The author had this to say:

It seems that all of the glory and legacy OG accumulated early this DPC season has all but sloughed off. Picked clean of all but one of its charter members, N0tail and Jerax’s reformed squad features faces both familiar and fresh to the OG brand. Still, they managed to cobble together enough skill to handily take the lone European qualifier slot for TI8. In years prior, such an achievement would be laudable, but outside of the regions’ titans the qualifier scene in Europe has been more or less a joke. Don’t believe me? @umryan: The premium cast is usually filmed as well. They just haven't posted it yet. Normally, it goes up shortly after the normal cast.

So much postulating over the Jacksonville shooting, yet they are horribly misinformed about the situation. I'd suggest not talking about something like this unless you come more prepared to the podcast instead of just throwing out the same tired blanket statements about gun violence that sound good in theory but really have no practical application, along with the fear mongering.

Boy, didn't take long to get to *that* comment that immediately makes you think it's all going to go awry.

They have every right to talk about it. They live in this country and have a voice.

Are you any more informed on the situation? If so, why not enlighten everyone, rather than throwing-out-the-same-tired-blanket-statements-about-gun-violence from the the opposing side of the debate?

CDPR is, without a doubt, my favorite developer. Going back to the Witcher 3 again this week blows my mind that so many people are all about Skyrim and then completely ignore Witcher 3. I think it is objectively a better experience in almost every regard. That said, if they can continue the quality that they have over the Witcher 3 series I will be very, very, very happy.

I also disagree that "it just looks like Deus Ex"...I've always found that, at least as far as the two most recent Deus Ex games go, they seem to extremely muted in many of their cyberpunk designs. I'm not sure if that's a fallback of the engine they are using or what. I hope that R. Talsorian Games plans to release an updated version of the tabletop RPG as I'm not happy with most of the cyberpunk themed tabletop experiences...Shadowrun is thematically interesting but I find the system to be bad and the hacking, if used like you're supposed to, makes the experience pretty awful.

Jeff's comment about, "Just play River City Ransom" is just classic Jeff hyperbole. I expect it just like I expect Mike to reference Star Trek on a RLM joint.

I appreciate that they talked about the shooting, even if they were definitely holding back. There is certainly a lot of confusion around gun control and there is no one stop solution, but there are steps we can take to mitigate these types of things. Mass shootings are uncommon in the grand scheme of things, but every day over 300 Americans die from guns. That’s a 9/11 every ten days. I realize it’s a contentious issue, but still, something has to give.

Ok now i want Total War: Streets of Rage

The esport obsession with prize money and money in general is really of putting to me. I get it,every sport is also a business. But most at least can make it look like there are things like honor, fair play and just competitive spirit involved. I think overwatch is doing the smart thing, making the teams more country/city focused. Because then there is a reason to cheer for something. Dota teams appear to just be brands, and what investment do you have in a team if its basically nothing more than a sticker on a shirt.

What is Ben talking about? In Strange Brigade, it doesn't say "British Cutesiness" as far as I've seen. The menu has an item called,"Brigade Chatter" that you can lower. I mean, did this change before release or does Ben need glasses?
