Sonic R is still the most fun 3D Sonic game to date. It's still as fun as it was when it came out.

Agreed. I don't really keep much music on my HDD, so these kinds of sites are always great. Another one that I often use is kohina.net - it plays mostly old 8/16-bit and arcade music.

A Crack in Time is the most polished, but a lot of its best elements like the writing, characters and action are straight out of Up Your Arsenal.

On a related note, the Sonic music makes me wish for a VGM-based Bombcast featurette or even weekly feature. I'm a fan of VGMpire, and I think Giant Bomb's ironic love of shitty music could bring a fresh perspective to that scene.

That's sad to hear: I think it's rather awesome. I don't care that you can find and play the games free online: You get a tonne of extras that are well worth the very small asking price presented in a very slick bundle.

My monday's always rescued by this feature. Especially when it's on tuesday.
