Admittedly boring anecdote: For the last few days I've been figuring out how to rip DVD movies so I can back them up and then throw out the discs to free up space in my home. This has not been as easy to do well as I thought - mostly because of interlacing. It took me a lot of trial and error to figure out the right mix of settings that resulted in the rip coming out without looking worse than playing off the DVD.

As a result of scrutinizing interlacing artifacts for the last 3 days, when the de-interlacing here occasionally breaks down, it's now super noticeable to me whereas it's something I never noticed before now. It's like now that I know about it, I can't help but see it. It sucks! Ignorance is bliss :)

JEFF PLEASE DON'T NEGLECT TONY HAWK'S PRO SKATER 3 ON THE PS1! IT WASN'T ONLY A PS2 GAME! (Sorry, caps, but this is important. Me and a lot of my friends only played the PS1 version back in the day.)

THUG PRO is quite fun, there is generally a few servers online. Good for like 30 minutes of Tony Hawks golden era of skateboarding whenever you need it.

Jeff, why aren’t you playing the Dreamcast version of this game? It’s looks way better and has a sick level editor.

THPS 3 is when they added the revert > manual landings right? That is the best one in the series, imo. Amazing levels, good soundtrack, addition of the revert. It's my favorite video game of all time. Hopefully they do a feature on THPS3.
