Reviews: Left 4 Dead 2 Video Review

Also, that clip at the end was so good.

When I fell down that manhole I broke my leg. Ellis just kept laughing at me and I begged him to go get help.

Brad is basically ellis but has to hide the accent now he's working on the west coast.

Not trying to bash on the game, its a great game, but is anyone else tired of seeing that dragon age ad?

No way, this cast is no where near as memorable as the first 4.

4/5, 3/5, 5/5... Giantbomb's review scores don't make any sense.. they always seem to be just.. however the person is feeling at the moment, which never really holds up to other reviews they've given.. At least their full reviews make sense.

Hmmm... Brad's intro sentence got me thinking, zombies have been exploited completely in the past couple years. Perhaps it's time for vampires. I'd enjoy a vampire twist in L4D3.

Also will pick up another time, pretty good atm with MW2 and Borderlands.

The voice of the Coach played Cutty on The Wire. That already makes him awesome.

That character reminds me a lot of Jason from True Blood, hilariously stupid.

This one time, me and my buddy Keith we're on Giant Bomb and we saw that there's was a video review for this Left 4 Dead 2 thing that's a sequel to a game released last year by a company who takes 5 years to make games, and we laughed at how committed Brad was to shooting his teammate at 4:27.

Look good but I won't be playing it for a while.

i could give a fuck about this game..... the fun of killing zombies has run its course

From just playing the demo, the game does feel like it has a lot of refinements added to it but that doesn't really make me want to pick up it up full price, maybe next year at some point when there is a sale. With that said, I enjoyed the original but i've barely played it since I bought it when it was on sale in the Spring this year.

People liked the original survivors because they were easy to relate to--there's a soldier, a college girl, a businessman, and a biker. The new survivors are more unique and fleshed out. Just listen to the dialogue--the characters have much more depth in Left 4 Dead 2. However, they are more unique and that being so, they aren't as easy for many people to relate to. TV reporter, conman, football coach, and redneck mechanic vs. L4D1 cast--can you really say that L4D1's characters are more unique? "

Very nice review, Brad. I got my hands on the demo as I'm sure many did, but it failed to grab my attention in any way. With a limited budget and other more diverse looking games out there, I'm just fine sticking with the original Left 4 Dead.
