It took me about four days to get all the way through this feature. All things considered this was a decent watch. I must say Jeff absolutely SAVED this for me. Without that overblown false enthusiasm and moments of intense diet Pepsi fueled rage I would have not even bothered finishing this. No matter how salty he gets the man knows how to make me laugh. Leave it to Dan Ryckert to come up with a total shit idea for a video series that manages to be entertaining against all logic. He's like the Vince Russo of Giant Bomb video booking. Thanks again for this amazing website.

The look on Dan's face during the Bonus Star sequence at the end more than made up for the fact that I spent nearly four hours of my life watching this nonsense.

I spaced it out over a few days, but that was a ton of fun. I laughed my ass off.

Don't feel bad. I constantly watch Premium videos multiple times. Gotta have something on my other monitor when playing WoW or another game that doesn't require too much focus. Of course soemtimes I'll flip on Netflix but Giantbomb premium vids are the best.

In conclusion

Jeff: won the most minigames and is therefore the most skillful at mario party - 3rd

Drew: Luckiest player, came second because he wondered into the most stars and boos and didn't get picked on - 2nd

Brad: Won because he got a star for having the most random crap happen to him - 1st

Dan: Got picked on a bit early game with Boos, managed to roll his way into second place. Dumped to last because mario party - 4th

This game is utter bs. Also, Dan, monopoly is not a game of skill.

Didn't you hear? Dan moved to the farm upstate. It's beautiful there! The air's fresh, the food is natural. Dan's... in a better place.

Watching all of these Mario Party Parties back-to-back for the first time, I've noticed a lot of inconsistencies in memories. At least once per MPP Dan has asked Jeff if he ever reviewed a Mario Party game, and the answer is not always the same. Just in MPP 3 Jeff said he might have reviewed Mario Party 1, but he can't remember. And then in this he said he definitely never reviewed any of them. It's not important or anything, it's just an interesting pattern that I've noted since I'm watching these within days rather than months. Also they are constantly forgetting what items do between games, but that's not surprising since it's Mario Party. I guess it's a little surprising that Dan forgets too since he loves this, but it's Dan.

@jasperkazai: To be fair, if I had to play 50 rounds of this my mind would be pretty hazy too.

@jasperkazai: I just recently sign up for premium to watch these and other videos so I'm also watching back-to-back too. You gotta keep in mind that they are also playing these months apart. So I wouldn't fault them on forgetting what certain items do. It's definitely a different experience watching them back-to-back rather than at the moment they come out.

I'm a bit late to the Party Party, but still a very satisfying ending. Dan quite obviously thought he was going to win again..and then the excuses flowed!

I get pretty tired of watching Brad just pick on Dan. He doesn't do it in a fun way, either. He's just kind of a jerk about it. Ruins some of the fun.

Even I feel bad for Jeff, it's clear these games are killing him from the inside. I love it.

In the process of rewatching these, one of the best moments in the entire series has to be Brad using the chomp whistle. Great stuff :)

Dude, I totally forgot Brad one this one. I still dig his Zen attitude toward Mario Party...it seems to be THE mindset to have going into a 50 turn nightmare.

I can picture a coroner in the future slowly pulling back a sheet to reveal Jeff's face wearing that extremely tired and bored look, and Jeff's wife standing there saying

"I...I just don't understand. He said he was going to a party..."

What a stunning victory by Brad. You can tell right from turn one that he had the gumption to win it. 🎊

I think Drew's meta in this series is generally very strong, which is why he's consistently a top contender despite not being a minigame beast like Dan or Jeff.

That being said, he was passing up free money at the final turns by shrugging off the Boo when he could have been stealing coins from Dan. (edit: also how did nobody take an interest in taking advantage of the boo torch?)

Also hot damn, Jeff was really showing off his joystick aptitude with Perilous Path at the end.
