brad and dan never realized that drew had a bone that stops the chain chomp from stealing anything from you for almost the entire duration of the game, so if one of them had tried it wouldn't have worked anyway.

I was at this and it was AWESOME!

It's been over 7 months. Enough time has passed, time to torture yourselves again for our amusement guys!

Dan truly is the villain, the boos from the crowd and his huge lead up until last minute when things turn around and he gets defeated. Also he won every Bowser event and the one time he lands on Bowser space himself Bowser GIVES him money. I love it!

Alright parts of that crowd can go fuck off. I get Dan's the heel and he's supposed to be painted as the MPP villain, but he legit likes these games and is there to have fun. When you try to start a, "FUCK DAN RYCKERT" chant that's just being a straight up asshole. You can even see it in his face at times when it gets a bit much.

Dan's a damn national treasure and I'm glad he brought Mario Party to GB but this live audience idea was a mistake.

Compared to Mario Party Party 6 this is the best.

All Mario parties should have a live audience.

The best Party Party. They should've done them all with crowds, really enhances the near-violent atmosphere. Those last two turns are intense.

This was my favorite in the series, the crowd really helped to make it a Party.

Dan makes a great villain. The crowd really added to this.

Dan is the best heel. That ending was like a Hollywood movie. Praise be to Drew!

This is quite the epic Mario Party, so good to see GB get energized and hyped for the crowd, but fuck those gif overlays, man, just ruined moments of the game and they became more and more incessant.

Trying to watch these more recently and mannnn it bums me out when sites switch to worse video players

Some people in this crowd are so annoying. Always trying to say something funny. Ugh.

The crowd made it, but only _because_ Dan was playing that role. Without Dan bringing that dynamic to it, it wouldn't have been nearly as interesting/fun.

I know I am literally years late to this party, but man this is THE BEST thing on Giant Bomb. It may be the best Lets Play period.

Also I've been watching Dan since Game Informer. I like Dan.

He deserved this.

The crowd in this are like crowds at indie wrestling shows, trying desperately to make it about themselves.

Watching this one again today. Maybe my favorite GB content.

This is my first time through Mario Party Party and I ALMOST skipped this one because it was live. Normally I hate live versions of things I already love but this one is special. The crowd dynamic worked (yes, they got annoying but without that energy this wouldn't have been any good). Jeff brought the humor. Brad became the maker of fates. Drew played the "pure of heart" hero (it's so wholesome how beloved Drew is, made especially more potent knowing now he's no longer at GB). And Dan absolutely makes this as the heel. Every story needs a villain and he does such a good job at it. As bullshit as this game is, Dan is always a contender even when he loses. He puts the pressure on everyone that the "story" needs.

This is the greatest game of Mario Party ever played.

This is an all timer. Couldn't have played out any better. Love Dan and I love when he gets his comeuppance.

Jason's use of the monkey was spot-on! He made it look like the monkey was laughing at Dan then like it was mocking him.
