Man, that's a good name! Easily better than Mass Alex, which is now unquestionably the worst named feature in the site's history.

Bad name, good series.

The lack of "episode 01" in the title made me worry that this was going to be a one-off.

Re the title, "Alex Effect" is a bit easier to say, or I'm sure some kind of Wolf/Shepard pun could've been dreamed up (or has Alex gone off the "Wolf" nickname?)

Please Vinny let him a little time to discover the backstory of things on his own especially when you don't remember them.

They explain everything, you don't need to read the codex.

As someone who has tried and failed to restart this first game multiple times, this is so much better than actually playing the game. All the story without the mako/clunky combat.

Mass Alex? Man, kinda rolled that one out, huh.

Alexy Quest is now my favourite Giant Bomb series.

I'm so happy about this feature.

I absolutely adore the first game, it probably would be my favourite of the trilogy were it not for the multiplayer in 3 (which nudges that game ahead for me because it's just that good). It's a fantastic tale across the board, though, and I cannot wait to take this journey with Alex and Vinny.

EDIT: Oh my gosh, the sound design and music is SO GOOD. It's been a while.

I think I'm the only one that thinks Mass Effect 1 was the best Mass Effect.

So excited for this! Love the whole series, my personal favorite is ME2 but all of them are awesome! This is gonna be so fun! Femshep's the best. What a weird thing that this game was a 360 exclusive for a long while.

great! now I have to play through all 3 games again too.

Not really. I find ME1 is pretty acclaimed for having the best story. ME2 for having best combat and side-quests (side-quests being 90% of the game). And ME3 for being "that one".

As time goes by, I feel like 2 has, strangely enough, actually aged the worst.

Plus I could write a damned book about how it relates to 3, and how 3 ruins everything, but I dont feel like dredging up that old debate.

One is the best and it is not close.
