Basically if you left click on the HD download you will see the date in the URL. It's the wrong DAY.

@zanzibarbreeze: It might make it accessible to non subs if you link it. That's what I've heard anyway.

Man, I'm really impressed with how much better Drew has gotten at this game. I replayed this not to long ago and I got caught a ton of times in the naked section. And the Ray fight took me quite a few retries as well.

Ah, I noticed the final Ray you take out is called RAY-ROSE. That's pretty good.

It always seemed to me that Kojima had to cut some parts of this game. Like why do they go out of the way to mention Snake fought Olga on the Big Shell again while Raiden was helping E.E.? I would have liked to have seen/played another Snake/Ninja fight! Then another off screen fight with Fortune? Always bugged me. Especially since I expected the first time I played that when you meet back up with Snake in Arsenal Gear and the camera pans over him now wearing his sneaking suit again, foolish 15 year old me thought, "Okay, here is the part where I get to play as Snake again and save the day!" I was so naive.

Also, I have always LOVED the part where Ocelot casually blows away Fortune. I still remember my reaction to that the first time I saw it being HOW THE HELL?!?! Great reveal there.

I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but while I can now get the HD file to download it is only downloading half the file so the video cannot play the whole way through.

You can stream the whole thing though so it does work on the site. Just letting people know that if anyone cares =)

Worked fine for me but I used the Firefox extension DownThemAll to get the file; it downloads the file in segments. That may solve your issue!

@zanzibarbreeze: eh. It's fine. The high resolution file, for now anyway, is enough. The quality isn't HD but it's not a horrible dip in quality or anything.

It's really late anyway, and I'm sick of trying to download it for now so I'll do it again in a couple of days or whenever they fix the file on the site haha

I haven't seen these scenes in over a decade and.... I am kinda amazed how relevant and forward thinking parts of its philosophy seem now. Bravo Kojima, lots of this stuff hits home hard over a decade later, and much of it predates other games that screw with these ideas. That said, WTF IS HAPPENING.

Wow. One thing I realized this time (with greater understanding of the series): Ocelot tricks Snake to showing up at Arsenal to trigger his subconscious Liquid-self--who then goes on to destroy the Patriots. In 4, it's revealed that the Liquid in Ocelot was just some nanomachine mumbo jumbo suppressed persona that he could "turn into" after Ocelot was in the Patriots' good graces. Ocelot's doing the right thing, but I doubt he cares about the world at large. He's doing it because of his admiration for Big Boss. Really looking forward to seeing their relationship developed in MGS 5.
