Looks entertaining. I like the humor. More tongue-in-cheek that I would have immediately thought.

Looks intriguing. Something I'd watch someone else play for sure. Nice gem there Vin-dog.

I certainly wouldn't pay anywhere near $20 for this, but I'd be tempted if it was somewhere in the $1-5 range. It doesn't seem scary, but it does seem very weird and that weirdness extends itself to the gameplay. Even if it's unpolished, it's certainly interesting and seems to change things up a lot. Plus, some of the puzzles seemed like they were actually clever.

I think Vinny likes this game more than he wants to let on to Alex, or even himself.

I see a little influence from Rock-star's Manhunt. Again, I could see(well not actually see) Vinny playing this on the can where no one could judge him, if it was possible.

I think this game looks totally alright. For one dude making it, I think the has done a pretty good job with the puzzles and models..Most of all I like the writing, I think it's funny.

The completely over-the-top ridiculousness of the monsters is great. It's just so strange.

Despite the dated look, this looks far more interesting to play than games like Pineview Drive and Ghostship: Aftermath.

I have to say I agree with you.

Still it's completely overpriced at 20 bucks, but I'll probably pick this up at some steam sale.

Also the giant teddy reminds me of Frank the Bunny from Donnie Darko.

I find it very refreshing to play these weird-ass kinda broken games. They provide a nice contrast to an industry otherwise filled with soulless, derivative, focus-tested-to-death games.

This looks like a weird PS2 game you'd get from a weird guy in a weird alley beside a closed Blockbuster.

Kiiiinda wanna see more of it.

So no one else frustrated with the locker combination?

Was a really obvious answer, if they spent just a fraction longer to actually read the clue they would have got it. Kind of frustrating then for them to make a mockery of the puzzle when really it was quite straightforward.

But yeah, weird game. Get the feeling that if this was released in the 90s it'd be a cult classic, but now... Just very strange.

This might be because of the fact that my expectations for Steam horror games are incredibly low, especially after watching the Pineview Drive QL, but this actually seems almost alright. At the very least it's going for SOMETHING. Not too sure what that something is, but it sure is there.

This is pretty incredible.

I really like Alex, but after a while his dryness kind of wore thin a bit. I get it, it's not a good game, it's not successfully doing anything scary, I didn't really need Alex to sardonically explain that over and over and over.

Man, some real games need to start coming out. The recent Quick Looks have been fun to watch, but I fear we may lose the GB crews, East and West, to the abyss of insanity.

This very much looks like a student project, but.. it's not entirely without merit. If this is someone's first real game, then they did a pretty okay job (that pricetag is still crazy though, Transistor came out at the same price).

Let's not beat around the bush here. This game is garbage. I'm not concerned about the graphics style as much the story and presentation for a game like this. There are much better indie games to spend your time on. There are a lot of really terrible games coming out these days that get more praise than they deserve.

Personally, I feel like I paid too much for Transistor at $20.

I wonder if it's initially priced at $20 in anticipation of selling most copies at a reduced price? I know I've justified more than a couple dubious purchases with "ehh..it's just $5 dollars to get another sale badge". If nobody thinks your product is overpriced, then it's probably underpriced, after all.

Does anyone else get the impression that the game was meant to be first person the whole way through but then changed to have more isometric-third persony stuff in an attempt to differentiate it from the rest of the shitty horror games in abandoned evil hospitals overrunning Steam?

This is definitely the type of game that doesn't seem fun to play, but is definitely fun to watch. I'd love to see a one-off video of Vinny beating the game.

This took way too long for someone to mention, thank you. I wonder how much Doug(h) likes crackers and snacks.

My absolute favorite part of this thing is how even with the whole hilariously over-the-top 14-year-old's "dark and disturbing and gross" motif, the chapter description (and the character himself) refers to being eaten and "passed" instead of the far more obvious, and thematically appropriate, "shit out". Brilliant subversion of expectations, inexplicable moment of restraint, or simply imperfect command of the english language?

We'll probably never know for sure, but thankfully all possibilities are pretty much equally fantastic.

"Real" games are predictable and overexposed, though. It's nice to find out the weirdness to make for some entertaining viewing content. That's been Giant Bomb's MO from the start.

We should all strive for video games to recapture the sheer insanity of Dreamcast-era releases. Seriously. The focus grouping of video games is what gets us to a place of complacency.

I react to this game much like I reacted to Deadly Premonition, in that it's humorously bizarre, really janky, and although I have no desire to play it myself, I would happily watch Vinny play through the whole thing.
