Man, this game is nuts in the best way. Like Patrick mentioned, I definitely got a Rayman vibe from it with the odd art style and wacky, upbeat sound effects. And I also agree with him that it is entertaining as hell to just watch. I would love to watch them just play through the rest of the game.

You are right, people are entitled to their opinion. It is their opinion that they would rather have other people on the quick looks regardless of circumstance or reasoning. It is my opinion that these people are ridiculously self-entitled, especially in this video, in which it is my opinion that Patrick is great in.

I just thought I'd come out of the closet as a detractor of Patrick detractors before I slink back into it, especially in a video as great as this one, in which we should be talking about how bloody good this game looks and how I should have it this instant.

You don't get to decide what people talk about in these comments, if people want to comment on the staff they can, and the people who talk about not liking something are no more or less self-entitled than the people who talk about liking it.

This might be the greatest of all quick looks. What a strange and engaging game.

Of the six Quick Looks this week, five of them are with Patrick.

I don't want to be that guy (but I totally will be) but at this point I have to agree with the crowd. The people in this world that you could put a microphone in front of - and have it be bearable for a longer duration - is few and far between. This site is successful because they found four such people to head the site.

Patrick is a fine news guy, he writes great articles. He is however not one of the natural charismatic people described above. This automatically guarantees that a fair share of the audience will find it outright offensive to watch videos like this.

Giant bomb ought to air on the side of quality and put some thought into who appears on these quick looks, which are the sites biggest draw. If they think they're doing a favour to Patrick by putting him in a position he is not well suited for, and thereby constantly putting him in the line of fire for those jerks who can not be civilized about it, then I humbly submit they are mistaken.

Art reminds me of Monty Python

I can picture some quality moments if a parent and child play this game and make up narration like Vinny does in the video. I'm really glad there are still things that encourage an active imagination.

Speaking of the storybook angle, the visual style of this game reminds me of The Stinky Cheese Man.

Goddamnit I have to stop watching this quick look. I feel like watching all this unfold is all the game is so while there's apparently a really funny moment at 20 minutes, I want to experience that for myself when I play it. Truth be told I was sitting here reacting with many happy coos and aahs when stuff was happening which further makes me realize how much I'm going to enjoy all the little touches and surprises. Since the game isn't that long from what I can tell I'm going to put the rest of this QL on the back burner.

I definitely want to experience the maximum amount of gooey good feelings from the very beginning.

I think having a child has turned Vinny into the funniest human being on this earth. I swear, everything out of his mouth is gold now.

In 30 minutes, you folks have convinced me to purchase this game when I had zero interest at the beginning. Well done.

Best deal is the humble bundle, beat the average and you get the soundtrack and a whole bunch of other goodies, plus it can be redeemed on steam.
