I enjoyed Destiny for a long time. It's a great game, with fun PvP. If you don't like it, well... your loss, I'd say. I had hundreds of hours of fun while you were raging online to gain favor with Jeff.

Expansion looks good, I'll probably give it a go after I'm done with The Witcher.

Yeah I'm sure Jeff spends a lot of time reading people's comments on Destiny.

I honestly have no idea why anybody would play Destiny over an actual MMO like FF14 or something, though. If you're going to grind loot, you should at least do it in something with actual end-game content besides a single raid.

Well, as someone who played Destiny for almost 300 hours and who got to level 35 in FF14, I feel I can answer this. You don't play Destiny for the loot. The loot is an added bonus. The reason I stuck with it so long is because it's just plain fun to play. I like regular MMOs like FFXIV too, but the point there is to level up and get loot. The actual gameplay is often severely lacking (it definitely was in FFXIV) and just something you have to slog through to get the eventual reward. In Destiny, gameplay is amazing and occasionally you get some cool loot as well.

Take break from a dancing animation on top of a canister to jump on a tarp, run up it, find the secret Ghost, and revive it by holding down the square button.

Ladies and gentlemen: Destiny

What a waste.

I payed for the season pass when the game first came out and still haven't gone back to it to play this. Destiny filled it's purpose by killing time until Bloodborne was released (which is the reason I bought a PS4), and now it just sits in my library unplayed for months. I'm actually thinking of deleting it to free up some hard drive space. It was fun to get online and kick ass with some of my co-workers, but after a month or 2 it just got way too repetitive. Hopefully they get it right with the sequel, because there are some really outsdanding gameplay elements in Destiny (flawless shooting mechanics, beautiful graphics, nice art design), there's just not enough content there to back it all up.

I love all the Destiny Quick Looks, because I basically get the entire scope of the game in a few minutes. It'll never be a game for me but I guess I can understand the appeal of playing a shooter with super tight controls and a focus on grinding loot and joining up with friends. I lean more towards Far Cry and Wolfenstein for my FPS fix

As someone enjoying Destiny after all the expansions and updates, I still agree with the two issues they bring up in this video - the lack of a quick swap option on your elemental weapons and the lack of matchmaking for all modes.
