I was fine until he spun the camera around a bunch, then i got sick lol. Otherwise this version looks pretty good to me, whats the framerate 30? I couldn't tell as the video looked pretty smooth on my tv.

@chmanitand1988: Jeff & Brad didn't sound down on DOOM at all. Having a worse version available of something you already played is just not something that makes people very excited. It's exciting if you never played the game and this is the one chance you have to experience it. They even repeated that DOOM is a fantastic game in this same quick look.

I'm glad Bethesda/ID are keeping to the tradition of porting Doom to everything they can just because they can.

Why the hell hasn't this been fixed yet? Every video on this site plays but this. Sort it out for christ sake!!

Aim is going all over the place on a console version of a FPS? Say it ain't so!

I mean, I get it. Some people don't have a PC that can run these games well so they have to settle for a console version with the vastly inferior control scheme. But why would you willingly play a twitchy FPS like Doom on a console?

@crusaderesper: It's more a matter of preference. I've played Doom on a friend's PC, but still bought and finished the game on Xbox.

honestly with the resolution youll be playing at does it really matter that much how the graphics are. I dont play a game on my phone and think ugh this would look so much better on my PC (slightly cause i only play on a old 5 year laptop). That being said I know the crew has super powerful PC's that can play in 4k 60fps no slow down. Im so use to just taking what i get so this game doesnt look so bad that given the option id just play it on the go.

Saying this game isnt worth buying if you own the game already is some of the weirder sayings i always hear. Like when people say this slightly up res or down res isnt worth it if you have a version of this game already. Isnt that obvious. Skyrim on the switch will get the same statements but i get it most people own it. This is for the small amount who dont and playing it on the go is a great experience. I remember sh!tin my pants as a kid when i saw a gamegear of sonic the hedgehog. I didnt realize it was a worst lower res lower everything version, just the idea of sonic like my genesis on the go was amazing. I feel like gamers lost that spark of joy since visuals are so good and games including handhelds are amazing. Im sure a 10 year old kid whos first system is a switch playing doom/skyrim for the first time on the go will be excited.
