@bagronken: Fair enough. Obviously if EX content if your favorite who am I to declare it historically terrible? I was going to mention how it's a shame (for those who enjoy EX material) that it always boils down to the same few devs that are friends of GB. Then it occurred it me, truly that is the only option, else there would be some detestable PR crony standing in the background trying to put everything "into context". Which is why I imagine GB refuses most EX type requests (think I've heard Jeff say that before). Maybe I should go back and check out some EX stuff... Can't be worse than a Brad / Rorie QL right?

@ryanlee: You should try and look to the positives in life, you seem so focused on what you don't like. Watch what you like, ignore the stuff you don't. No one is going to like everything they put up, and that's definitely not what they're aiming for either. Listen to Yoda, choose the light side of The Force :)

I would have liked to have seen someone else play as well as Vinny. It would have been interesting to see if a different person could create something wildly different (and perhaps somewhat musical ;) ) on one of the same levels as him

I was thinking more of a Future Retro Revolution.

This kind of game just doesn't speak to me at all.

@bagronken: This can't be worse than that is the ultimate reasoned criticism. It's a simple A vs B because C comparison. For example... Transistor has to better than Bastion because it is newer. To deny the comparative statement is to mute _any_ argument. But I'm too involved, Cheers! Indeed, high five!

I dont' really understand the appeal of this but it looks like a lot of others do, so that's awesome for Samantha. Congrats on releasing her game!

@ryanlee: Except that lots of people prefer Bastion to Transistor. An argument can be sound without being correct.

I like the look of sentris, but I think I'm definitely one of the people for whom the spinning circle would make me sick.

Samantha seems like a really cool person, but I don't understand this after listening to the Bombcast last year, the BEASTcast last week, and having just watched the Quicklook. I guess it is more of a tool than a game. If people were seriously interested making music don't more robust and feature-packed tools already exist?

Best of luck to Sentris, but honestly after watching that I just want to go play some Super Hexagon.

I just don't understand what is going on in this game. I've been trying to understand it ever since the Bomb crew started talking about it and yet I just can't wrap my mind around it.

The comments are depressing, but goddammit, I must agree - it reminds me of Wii Music: when Miyamoto was asked if it was a game, he said, "No, it's a toy." Having played it, it feels like productivity software. I'm determined to get a better hang of it and see if I can have some fun actually creating, but I guess I'm not sure what the end goal is here, a sort of "when do I know when I'm satisfied" sitch.
