What a cool game! Not since Majora's Mask has a game made such good use of groundhog day-style mechanics. I'm looking forward to playing this game one day.

BEST SARCASM EVER. This was one of the best Quick Look EX videos ever. The developer seemed very natural and willing to just play along with stuff.

That was absolutely fascinating. Thanks for highlighting this! With Life Is Strange and this, it's clear groundhog day was ripe for game mechanics.

Yeah, I rarely watch Quick Look EX's but this one was just awesome (I'm only 16 minutes in at the moment). He's just sitting back, making a few jokes, giving some technical advice as necessary (how to stop looking at the painting, sitting on the bed, etc.) without trying to guide them to play the "right" way. He let Jeff drug himself on the first run and didn't say a word. That's exactly how EX's should be, I think - just joking around, talking about gazpacho, not trying to sell the game.

Also, his accent is lovely. :)

If 12 Minutes came out in 2015 (which sadly it sounds like it won't) then we could have a serious race for Giant Bomb's Best Groundhog Day Game of 2015.

My money is on Life Is Strange, but Majora's Mask and 12 Minutes would make it a close race.

Too bad The Witness has to come first for the developer :P

Normally I ignore PC games, but this thing looks amazing

I wanted to yell at my screen halfway throught that quick look "Hide in the damn closet before she figures out your are home!"

I wonder if the cops would show up in time if you convinced her you were reliving the day, call 911, lock the front door then locked yourself in the bathroom? It definitely seems like there's a few ways you could go in this scenario, which is neat.

This really is one of the coolest games I've seen in a long time - I'd love to see how this pans out! All I want to do is play it now!

I love the looping time 'genre', being able to correct mistakes or take extreme actions to make progress in the next loop. The thing is the developer needs to think of so many different ways the player can do things and have the characters react appropriately, otherwise the game might seem limiting.
I hope this lives up to its promise.

Seems interesting. Looking forward to seeing more of it next year. That's a pretty boring apartment though. A couch facing the sink, fridge, and oven seems odd. Shouldn't the title be "Unfinished EX"?

This looks super cool. Also, hide in the closet before she knows you're home and you might be able to overhear the watch location.

Hope development on The Witness raps up soon, I'm very intrigued to play this.

One of the best Quicklook EX's ever, great guest and a great looking game can't wait to see it come together.

Also yeah, this was awesome for a QLEX. It basically felt like a QL with a 3rd guest, rather than with a guiding hand. Love that he let his game talk for itself. Resulted in something funnier / more entertaining than most of the other QLEX's.

This game and a game that appeared on a 2013 UPF called "Memory of a Broken Dimension" are the two unreleased games that I think about the most, for whatever reason. Supposedly Twelve Minutes is coming out this year and has some pretty big names doing VO. Cool!

It was interesting watching this after finishing the game. Wonder if Luis would be interested in coming back and talking about this demo compared to how the game turned out.

What on earth took them another 6 years to get this game out!? The whole thing seems here bar some VO and a visual upgrade.
