I agree with Jeff. BMW were cool until 1998.

I'm not sure why, but Dave has an amazing voice. Audi and Citroën make pretty good cars, but I guess Jeff wants to drive something from the US. Can't say I'm a fan of the way the Challenger looks, though.

The challenger is the one of the last true 'merican muscle car that one can buy from the dealer today. Which mean it handle like shit through corners. Makes lots of smoke and 11s tho.

well that was 42min crap excuse for a QL , i'm sorry guys but that QL was boring as hell, didnt give me any kind of insight if i wanted to buy this game or not .

i have been noticing the lack of interest in the QL lately esp in the BF3 one , it kinda feels like its a chore for them to do and get it out of the way.

i was interested in this game coz i hav never played a forza game but that QL really made me change my mind. just coz they made it seem like its boring as hell and its something that they had to do.

@Buckfitches: The game is aimed at a wider audience than just people who are very seriously into cars and motorsport and want to play very realistic video games about them, though, since that's a fairly small market which is catered for by things like rFactor. That's why the assists are there. You don't have to be seriously into the minutiae of WWII weaponry and tactics to enjoy Red Orchestra 2, for example.

I don't own a car (I live in a city where it is pointless), don't like motorsport, but do LOVE racing games of all kinds. The problem for me is that this series has always felt extremely dry and lifeless in single player, and I'm not capable of playing online at a level which is enjoyable. Perhaps the newly revamped career mode will be a big improvement for this one.

Also, adding Jeremy Clarkson is very offputting. Americans probably don't realise what an absolute arse that man is. It is the equivalent of putting Bill O'Reilly in the next Call of Duty.

Thats what I thought too. But I guess if you have an Xbox and you are into sims enough to notice, you will be getting this game either way.

Also, hearing about american car prices makes me sad. 43k for an SRT8? You wouldnt even get a 1.5l Honda CR-Z for that price over here.

I think it's a pretty important perspective. shows how accessible the racing sim is today. He's a big fan of Forza -- it's natural he'd be the one to review it.

Cultural differences sure are something. Here in Portugal, a Honda Civic is normally associated to street racers. Or it was at some point.

This looks really, really good. I just have a feeling that I burnt myself out on F3, and the same thing will happen with this as happened with Dirt 3. Too much racing excellence, but the next installment is just too much the same.

Why does FM4 and the Spec 2.0 update for GT5 (that apparently adds cockpit to all cars) have to come at the same time?

As much a I like the Forza series, this looks pretty incremental. I want to see how realistic some of the photos can be made to look because some I've seen in GT5 on forums look crazy realistic.
