Also, this game looks amazing, and I don't even like God games.

Wow, I had no idea what to expect from this but now I'm completely on board.

well, its XBL timed exclusive, so by the time it comes out on PS3 no one will give a crap, sadly. look at BG&E. Everyone was excited when it came out on XBL, then when it came out on PSN 5 months later, thanks Ubi and hackers, no one gave a shit. exclusives that never come out on another platform = ok by me. Timed exclusives for one platform and come out on others 6+ months later = fucking bullshit. People are hyped to play something when it comes out on the 1 platform. by the time it comes out on the other theres a ton of other stuff out and no one cares anymore

This game really need some steam hell when you connect water to lava. When everything else looks so good its pretty dissapointing when the lava just dissapears into the water and vice versa.

It's out on the 360 in two weeks and that's what we're playing it on now. The PSN version, near as I can tell, doesn't even have a release date yet. Does this really need to be explained to you?

I don't get what people are complaining about, you mentioned a PS3 version, so it's all good (personally the PC version is the one I care about).

Also, just friendly advice, keep the game at the forefront of your mind while playing, and the colour commentary in second place. It's much more entertaining to listen when you're paying attention to the game ;) (not making trippy circles with your woolly worm)

Anyhow, keep up the good work!

Why do they spend an hour quicklooking Deadliest warrior and "only" 30 mins quicklooking something that genuinely has lots of mechanics to show?

Cool stuff though.

@rethla: I'm guessing that it's too demanding on the hardware. There's already a lot going on and realistic looking and behaving steam/smoke effects make even games on the PC lose fps like crazy.

Preordered this from the Ubisoft store a few days ago to the PC =)

Looks really cool, Summer of Arcade maybe my favorite part of the year for games. 

I'm really glad this got a QL. The promotional videos made it look amazing but I needed a better feel for the gameplay. Anyways, the game looks great and I hope Brad gets to play the PC version because that's what I'm leaning toward.

looks kinda nice, but not for me i don't think. Not on ps3 at least, maybe if it gets like $2 on a steam sale some day.

Speaking as a dude who really likes mythology, the fact that they wrote a frankly absurd amount of text about the myths and lore of these fictional people and they included gameplay relevant information in that lore that you have to read between the lines to find, is so fucking cool to me.

1. A woolly worm is a caterpillar, also known as a woolly bear or a woolly booger. They have a whole festival for them in Banner Elk.
2. I'm not a tree hugging vegan, and I think quinoa is the bomb! 
3. This game doesn't look half bad.

 
Edit: Vinny was spot on about obsidian. Also, I have a butt load of actual arrowheads (not obsidian) I dug up from my grand parents' property. They are insanely common on the east coast. That would make sense since Native Americans were hunting and fighting around here for many years.

I encountered major technical problems trying to play Black & White, so I'm quite excited to try this!

I was waiting to see this so badly. I'm definitely getting the PC version.

This is exactly what I was hoping it would be, it looks awesome. The fluid dynamics interacting with the terrain deformation is pretty damn cool, as a programmer I kind of geek out about that stuff.

Wow if only a God would actually do that to tsunamis in our world...

Between this, Bastion, Crimson, Deus Ex, Star Ocean Last Hope Int., White Knight Chronicles 1 and 2 and infamous 2 my free time = completely destroyed, no way i will finish all this before october-nov game armageddon.

Game looks absolutely fantastic, i had doubts when i first heard about it but it looks pretty great.

The 'worm' cursor reminds me of one of these

Also, Brad fails at fluid dynamics :P

I see myself playing this for hours on end.
