The only racing games I ever remember playing in arcades are the Cruis'n games. Not that I ever went to arcades that much.

I just want to say that if this came out on XBLA, I'd play the shit out of it. Colorful, simplistic, arcadey racing game with logical-looking physics and easy-looking handling? I want that.

Didn't the original have a 'don't touch the car with the bomb' feature and built in cameras to take your mug-shot?

Also £5 is not deer for a game when you consider barely jacked-up online flash game gordon ramsey's kitchen nightmares for the wii is full retail price

the main interest of the arcade game, and what made it so great, is that it had an actual handbrake and it was all about handbrake turns and shortcuts. also it was fun if you lived in Europe, since you got to drive cars you could see in the streets every day. now ten years later, and without the arcade cabinet, it lost a lot of its charm.
