The "high" download does not work. My browser says the file cannot be found.

Link keeps defaulting to be 2016/04/02 (not sure why) if you manually amend it it should work.

I don't think I'll ever approve of non-fighting game guest characters. They never seem to be anything other than an extremely cheap and lame way for a game to garner more interest.

@timeshero: Oh I'm sure there are plenty of metrics out there which prove that they are very effective but they have led me to enjoy every game that had them much less than I would have otherwise with the possibly sole exception of Tekken 3.

I like watching this game more than any other fighting game (maybe other than MK). Game is over the top in all of the right ways.

@bbalpert: Since the start of season 2 last year when Iron Galaxy took over, it was the first new stage they made.

It's a shame that this launched on PC with a few problems, but it seems like a mostly sound launch and IG seems to be fixing things, so it should be pretty robust in short order. The base game and netcode seem to work fine for the vast majority of people, at least, so it's unlikely to turn into another MKX.

Also, I'm pretty sure the free version of the game is still just the one character -- currently Wulf -- and @unastrike probably just happened to log into Windows 10 with a Microsoft account that was tied to his gamertag or something.

EDIT: oh, and wrt combo assist: you could probably enter Evo or the KI World Cup with combo assist on at this point. The season 3 changes removed any competitive advantages you could get out of it.

Lore-wise? In terms of combat design, Arbiter and Rash turned out really cool. They brought over a lot of gameplay concepts from their respective games to KI in ways that enriched the game.

Yep, this has happened a number of times the past week or two. Can't play the auto set (streaming) on Chrome or the PS4. Choosing the YouTube version worked for me on Chrome just now.

The KI announcer might be the best video games announcer.

KI sure does have great sounds. Up there with some of the Battlefield games for best video game sounds, IMHO.

@ravelle: on the post-match screen, the headings for the various statistics are very literally missing text.

I really like the Skylanders announcer dude that yells the name of the upgrades of vehicles.

This game really makes me sad at the state of SF5

None of the video options work for me except for youtube.

I don't understand the inclusion of easy combos. If the mind set is "well the combos aren't hard to pull off anyway", then why include it?
