Looks pretty good, something I'll probably try out whenever I get an Xbone.

Wow I wasn't expecting much from this game, but man does this look awesome! Looks really fun!

I am completely baffled by people talking about how impressed they are with the Xbox One exclusives only to then say that they're NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER going to buy one. At first they complained that Xbox didn't care enough about games, and now that they're showing a lot of impressive games it's still not enough to satisfy people. If Microsoft was as stubborn and close minded as these people are, then you'd still have to always be online, and you'd still always have to have the Kinect hooked up.

Let go of your hatred and enjoy things that are well made. You shouldn't let your nerd rage keep you from enjoying something you would otherwise enjoy.

Wait, what was that syncing game data thing that popped up when they booted up the original Killer Instinct? is that an Xbox One thing? It seemed to take some time to load.

should that achievement pop up be slow and framey like that?

Good Quick Look. I'm a little more interested in the game than I thought I would be.

But I have to disagree on one point and say that Street Fighter ain't all that serious either.

There were no other options on N64? Man, I'd rather play Fighter's Destiny than one of the old KIs. Though this new one looks pretty fun, actually.

Those achievements were really framey....like what?

Was that an MF Doom mask in the Jago customization screen?

I am not planning to buy any console before spring/summer next year. Does that somehow deny my right to say that the game looks pretty fun? Also don't forget that most people aint going to buy 2 consoles at launch and after E3 when it was possible might already pre ordered a ps4 before MS did a 180.

Or, y'know, we can't afford two systems and went with the one they liked the most for other reasons so maybe chill out because fuck.

Glad this turned out ok. It gives me hope that the Strider game they are working on will be good.

I played this game it is total garbage. I used to be a huge KI fan. Has nothing that made KI games cool it is a street fighter 4 rip off with 2 KI systems tacked onto it with horrible animations that no longer flow there is annoying hit pauses between the hits. Some how the game has even less fucking animations than the old games and looks worst than most xbox 360 fighting games.

Oh and the artwork and character design is possible the most sucktastic art I have ever seen in a fighting game and I played shaq fu(and shaq fu has better character designs.) if it wasnt for the names on the box (written in the worst typography design I have ever seen in a game) I would have no Idea who the fuck anybody is or even if this is a KI game.

You can only play one character in that worthless dojo mode broken unfinished crap this game is.

Damn, the bone has more good games at release than PS4. Generation done :D. No, but it's cool, I really wanna play this and Dead Rising 3. I hope they come to PC sometime.

Looks great. Looking forward to playing, but I think I'm going to wait a while on a new console. PS4 and Xbox One will be 2014-2015 consoles for me.

IIRC, isn't a physical version with all the characters supposed to come out later? Sounds like the best idea for people who just want all the shit right away.

And I've got the Killer Cuts CD too. Ripped to MP3. Still jam out to it from time to time. The Gold Cuts CD didn't come close.

I haven't played the original Killer Instinct games, but this looks alright? It certainly doesn't look worse than most Xbox 360 fighting games. I think the character art is pretty cool.

I think you just might have Star Wars-syndrome. Grew up with the old stuff and loved it, only to inevitably hate any new stuff that is released years later. I'm way into XCOM and I've seen countless threads on the official boards of people that grew up with the first XCOM and that fucking despise the new games.

You're in some rarefied air here, man. A person who liked the old KI games, but hates this one? You're probably about 0.01% of the population.

1) The Dojo is just to learn the game's mechanics. Practice Mode is for learning each character's unique traits.

2) Anyone who says "____ looks/plays worse than Shaq Fu" clearly never played or doesn't remember Shaq Fu.

3) The character designs are a bit different from the original games, but are you seriously telling me you can't even recognize, say, Sabrewulf? The giant blue werewolf? Or the ice guy? Or the girl dressed all in green?

I also some people (and I include some reviewers in here) would stop comparing this game to a full priced fighting game. It's free if you just want to play Jago, and only $20 for all 8 characters. It logically follows that it won't be quite as feature-rich as a $60 alternative like SFIV. It's a smaller, bite-sized experience, and priced accordingly.

Half of this quick look was spent in menus... Boring...
