Every Brad/Dan Quick Look feels like a modern day episode of The Odd Couple.

The isometric Tomb Raider games are secretly the only good Tomb Raider games.

Been replaying TR on PS4, looking forward to getting back into one of these.

I love shortshorts tomb raiding Indiana Jones no shits given bad ass Lara. Especially with these games and their magic bullshit. She's great.

(Also "more tasteful". Nah. Old Lara is tasteful as fuck. Nice demonizing of women's bodies though.)

Who voices this Lara? Is it the same one who voiced Dirty Reboot Lara?

Should have bought this fucking game, did not know there was online. Oh well, with the way PC games are right now it wont hurt to at least wait and see if it a good port first before buying anyway.

I played through the last one with a friend. It was fun at first, but it does on and on and on. It gets really repetitive. Maybe this one will have more variety. I got the feeling that the last one was praised by people who didn't play through the whole thing.

I'm still trying to figure out which I enjoy more, Brad and Dan QLs, or Dan and Drew QLs....

Just for the record: I did everything there was to do in the last one and never got bored ;)

PS1 Lara was the best Lara and I'm glad they kept the outfit.

@2headedninja: It could be we were looking for something to beat and be done with. So maybe it's on us for looking for a smaller game. Weird, I know.

You know who DOESN'T have a dog head but is still a mummy? Danny Glover. In fact he is so "old for this shit" that in his latest action blockbuster "Day of the Mummy" he's just talking to the "team" through videolink. So there's that.

Yeah, there was a lot of repeating the missions to unlock everything. Some of the goals just were opposed to each other. You usually had to do at least one "speed" run and one to do all the other stuff. So I can see why it could get boring. I just remember having an almost unreasonable ammount of fun playing the last one.

@thunderslash: Keeley Hawes voices this Lara. She's the same VO from Tomb Raider Legend, Underworld, and Anniversary.

Camilla Luddington is the voice for 2013 Tomb Raider.

Nope, been playing the original on ps1 :D, i'm a sucker for methodical movement, i know some people might not call it that.

Guardian of Light was free with Games with Gold some months back. I didn't care for it.

(I did play through it by myself though.)

@thunderslash: There's a chance Keeley Hawes might turn up again in the new series; it was decided she was too 'old sounding' for a teenager in TR 2013, but sounds like she loves doing it and Crystal Dynamics like having her around.

And the tip thing should be in Easy; kinda defeats the point of a puzzle boss to have the puzzle solved. It's what Easy is for.

Not really his job or college major.... So I think we can give him a pass.

ALSO - less trophies is not necessarily a bad thing, depends what you want out of trophies? If you just want points, the game has the same amount either way, less is easier to get, (so instead of 3 bronze you will have 1 silver, etc...).
More trophies might be nice if you want it to dictate how you play the game, (Noby Noby Boy had no direction besides "eat and make Girl grow bigger"; i got bored with that so I played for the trophies to give it some structure); in a game like Tomb Raider I'm fine with easier trophies...

@hassun: I initially felt concern over the combat in the 2013 game, but they did a hell of a job with it.

Those giant tombs in Underworld were amazing and I missed them, but if Rise doesn't go that nuts I suppose I can revisit Underworld yet again.

I was pretty disappointed with Brad's comments about Lara's look in this game. I know he didn't mean anything by it, but making it out that this was Lara's "bimbo" look (he didn't use that word) was pretty disappointing to me. Clearly she looks barely anything like she did in the past. No more double D breast or overly curvy figure. Acting like she can't wear short shorts? :|

@squidracerx: It's not his lack of knowledge on the subject that's annoying, it's more that he should have just said "I don't know" instead of what he did say.
