Quick Look: Laser League

I love this game. Downloaded it on a whim through Game Pass, and it's been dominating my gaming time since.

That was fantastic! Definitely going to be picking this up.

This game is so much fun. Hopefully more people pick it up

I might have to check this game out. The Tron like style mixed with some hectic gameplay does look fun.

LASER SASS

Been on this for a couple of months (Steam Early Access) and it's absolutely superb stuff. Hoping the official release gets us some more online players on PC though, as it's been a bit barren so far :-(

I love the simplicity and how it communicates everything to the player. Looks like an easy to pick up and play game that can get intense! The laser avoiding reminds me a lot of Furi which is to say, I'm really into it.

For some reason I expected this to be a west QL, seems like a better fit. I suppose Jeff might be busy with E3 stuff, though.

They should definitely do an East vs West stream for this. Even just the quicklook was a blast to watch.

The "secondary" strategies behind the different powers could be what makes me really get into this game.

I had no idea what was happening until the ikaruga themed online match. Not sure if I like the art here seems very busy. This would be cooler with better art and saw blades and gibs and blood I could see some thing like that working.

That online match was chaotic, but fun to watch. I was on the figurative edge of my seat. I'll third the 'Us vs. Them' stream idea.

Downloaded this a couple days ago for Game Pass and haven't fired it up yet. Guess it's time! Game Pass continues to pay dividends...

This must have been in a humble monthly bundle or something because I went to put it on my wish list and turns out i already own it. Definitely going to try it out.

If anyone is curious, this game is free on XBox Game Pass, so if you have that already, download this and give it a go.

Should have given Abby and Alex a little rundown of the rules before you started. Those first ten or so minutes are an absolute mess and it was really difficult to watch. Even just the basics of gameplay (touch white poles to make coloured barriers, don't touch opposite colour) would have been enough.

The game itself looks pretty fun, though. I can't see myself every having enough people to play on the regular but it's got a great look and hopefully the abilities are varied and balanced enough to keep things fresh.

This game is highly underrated... buy it people!

I've been playing this since watching this quick look last week and I cannot stress how solid of an original competitive game it is. It's a shame more people aren't playing it, 'cause it really deserves a thriving community.

I got it through Game Pass and its a lot of fun. I will also say give us a East vs West.
