Think the devil would name his kid Lucius as some sort of pun? I feel like he's above that.

I'm sad that this game really really sucks. I liked the first one even though it had it problems but it was kind of charming. And Alex, Finland is not part of Eastern Europe =)

If I'm not mistaken - witchcraft/working with the devil - was often portrayed as having ... certain relations with the devil...

Open a map. Look at Europe. See where the usual 'Eastern Europe' countries are? That is, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, etc.

Finland is to the east of that.

@gannerone: Not all magic is "black" in all traditions. Most christians and jews practised what was called "white" magic. That was in fact chanting hymns from Bible, drawing circles and other stuff. Think John Constantines shtick, not black voodoo loa.

@twolines: I don't know where you live but I have literally never heard anyone say Finland is an Eastern European country. Finland is a Nordic country in Northern Europe, which is as much a "thing" as Western, Southern or Eastern Europe. These are real classifications recognized by the UN and other entities.

@jagenheim: Per definition, Finland is part of Northern Europe, or more specifically Fenno-Scandia.

Mother of God. Lucius was riding that guy's bottom half as if it were a mount. Now all he needs is a big trenchcoat to appear to be a regular 12-foot-tall man with a child's face.

I'm not sure how or why they went from the first game to Omen Simulator 2015, but bless their stupid hearts.

Mein gott, I have to play this game. It is just so wonderfully dumb. I could play around with the slippy fluid all day.

I'd love to see an actual GOOD version of this, however. The concept of The Omen: The Game isn't without promise. But this is more Gory Goat Simulator than anything. (which in a way is pretty high praise)

In the developer's defense, the first game was "Omen Simulator 2014", and this looks to be more or less a carbon-copy of that.

That infodump at the beginning was awesome! It was like someone had to tell story at camp, but wasn't quite sure where the story needed to go, or how to end it: " And then...well he got better, for a while...but THEN a NUN came to the hospital so he attacked her...and then...oh, these nurses took him to the basement or whatever.."

Also, i'm Finnish and i can totally see why someone might think we're part of the eastern europe since we literally are border neighbors with Russia. ( Also with Sweden and Norway, but still )

I mean more in the Goat/Surgeon Simulator 2014 sense, where it's just become a playground for ridiculous physics nonsense and people running around madly instead of the rather contained, orchestrated MURDER that the first game started with. Maybe it ended like this, I don't know, but this is pretty amazing either way.

I get up each morning, hoping for a QL from GB East, and getting a little gaming in before I get busy. This QL I will be looking up and re watching at some point when things are slow.

Concerning the suicidal children, it is the perceptual allowance of what is in movies, and content in video-games. On a personal note, I do not follow Satan media (movies, lore). It never grabbed me how disturbing it could all quickly get. Humans seem to do it for themselves just fine.

About died watching Vinny chase people around with a jolt cart!

I was looking forward to this QL quite a bit after watching Patrick's YT video and of course the Beast doesn't disappoint.

By the way, this game might be bad and dumb, but if you ask me it's just in the right kind of way to be fun. (For about 10 or so bucks at least.)

One major problem with the first game was that you only ever had one way to kill your target, and you had to figure out which way it was that the developers had intended that to be done. This seems way better in that regard. I recall the first one being about this busted despite it's way more limited option anyway.

Yeah, who cares, right? Just like the Revolutionary War. Who gives a shit about that? Might as well just call it all Britain, am I right? ;)
