Ok, I get what people have been saying in the GB community. The Jeff and Vinny humor just hook together like no other GB staff does. I get it now.

It looks like the closest Madden has got to that game. Hope it plays like it, hard to believe they still haven't made a better game. Even the commentary seems to be trying to be like 2k5 (it's not as good, but better than any Madden game commentary before, and certainly better than the atrocious commentary of the last few games).

I don't know if you noticed, but this game have some issues and what they did is giving appropriate respones to those issues. I don't see the problem here.

I'm always amazed by how TERRIBLE parts of Madden look. Then again, EA has no incentive to make these games better.

I'm a lover of football. Played in high school and am an avid college and pro football fan.

But this game looks terrible. I don't understand how the animation can be that bad. I get that this series is about money, because people are going to buy it regardless of what changes have been made, but things look as robotic and unrealistic as ever. As funny as this video was, this game is just gross.

I said it in the NCAA Quick Look and I'll say it again. I want Jeff and Vinny to Quick Look all the major sports games.

Easily one of the Top 10 QLs of the year. I'd love to see Vinny and Jeff do one for NHL13...

A sack is basically a specific type of tackle: tackling the QB for a loss of yardage. So the QB drops back for a pass, you tackle him before he throws, and it's a sack.

If the QB drops back, you chase him, and he ends up running for a 1 yard gain before you tackle him... it's just a tackle.

Tacking the QB behind the line of scrimmage (the point at which the play started) is the defintiion of a sack.

Whenever i need cheering up, i just watch the 'FIFA Fails keep getting better' video series on youtube. I am a huge FIFA fan and i actually find the physics issues totally hilarious and fun.

I have warned my Madden buying friends though... i think they're going to be in for the same this year. New physics engine in a sports game is always going to result in some degree of zaniness.

Laughed so hard during this while eating dinner and eventually puked up part of my sandwich as a result.

How nice to see that the three of them know nothing about football. I can really relate to that.

@BrockNRolla: So because the animations are bad, the game is terrible? You might want to take another look to your priorities in a video game.

@MjHealy: Wow, I thought of the same thing as well. It would be nice to have some more TV like presentation in the menus for the next FIFA game. I do like the playable section in FIFA during loading though, I think I've spent a lot of time just kicking the ball and doing tricks before games start.

EDIT: That being said, some the the menus here seem really laggy. I guess I'd prefer function over form.

The fans in the stands look almost exactly like they do in Madden 2004.

Madden is a joke, but I keep buying it.

If they change the skins to resemble Transformers, I'll buy in.

I was thinking about getting madden this year, but this video helped remind why I stopped playing madden
