For it's price this game looks awesome. I'll pick it up. It looks like the designers really liked Bayonetta's moving platform stages.

Seems pretty alright for a $15 character action game. I'd love to see what the developer could do with a serious budget.

If video games go extinct in the future, and people want to know what a video game is, we could show them this game and it would be acceptable.

Hearing Jeff say "you could do a lot worse for $15" made me think how much better you could do for $15 dollars these days.

Thinking back to where games were in this respect 10 years ago and now, it's rather mind boggling how many great games have filled this category in such a short time. Really we're talking about Braid and the first summer of arcade in conjunction with Steam taking off in 2007/8 that started the exponential growth. In 5 years this category went from fledgling and new to robust and downright necessary. I don't think you can talk about video games these days without a major focus on what's going on. Gotta love it.

Just add a better budget/voice acting (maybe a better plot too...) and I could be very interested in this! Good QL in any case.

Uncharted + God of War / budget = this. I ain't hatin'.

Yeah, this does not look awful, but I'm getting a real Remember Me vibe from the impacts and combat encounters, and that's really putting me off.

Gotta echo the sentiments that this looks really good for the price. You can tell a lot of work was put into making this as awesome as they possibly could make it, and at least somewhat unique. Don't know that I'll play it, but I'm genuinely impressed!

These guys making this gave no fucks for either good and bad.

It means you are playing an action game where you have direct control of the character, as opposed to something like Diablo.

Also yeah James Hong has done voice overs for Asian characters in about 77 million things.

Anyway I'd probably pick this up for like $5 it seems solid enough to play when there's nothing else but that won't be happening for the rest of the year.

Hrmm... let's put it this way, if you're a hardcore character action game fan you're probably not gonna like this one, if you're not there are probably better options available to you for the same price that you haven't played yet, like Bayonetta, the God of War series, Ninja Gaiden series, etc. Even Dante's Inferno seems more competent and interesting. Basically I don't see a reason for someone to buy this game.

The guys who worked on this should be proud.

Who knows what they had to work with budget and time-wise.

They made something that looks much more interesting than the last half dozen big budget games that've been pushed out after 3 or 4 years of development.

It's kind of a amazing that we live in a time where a no-name budget titles can provide this much quality gameplay. I mean, this is actually an impressive piece of software and everyone involved should be damn proud. I'd love to hear an interview with the project lead.
