God that coop section was one of the funniest non-stop things I've seen in a very long time. I had to pause it twice during my work break because I laughed so hard I started crying.

The coop part of this quick look had me laughing so hard. It's videos like this that keep me coming back to Giant Bomb for years. Keep doing videos of broken games please.

Amazing. I genuinely haven't laughed quite as much at ANYTHING this week. Maybe even longer. I guess super dumb stuff is still cool.

I love it how there are small developers who are like "Instead of, say, just NOT making a console port of our mobile game, let's just crap out a broken game with terribly subpar graphics relative to literally every other polygonal game available for the console". If you don't have the budget to make a decent port of your already pretty bleh game, just hold on to the money and make something else.

I know people gotta eat, but every employee at baKno games should just quit, and find more meaningful employment, because your studio obviously doesn't give a shit about putting out a quality product. I'm sorry, but you did not go to college/university for computer science/game design to spend your days making games like fucking Motorbike.

*realizes the above rant applies to probably hundreds of mobile game developers, has a big sad*

Jeff is really good at games like this.

No matter what shit comes out of self publishing I think it's good every dev has a chance to put their game on such a large stage. There will be shit, but there will also be gems that wouldn't have been released on ps4 without self publishing. And we always have GB to tell us what is and isn't shit.

@naru_joe93: You are right in that respect. I just hope everyone else can see the light of Giant Bomb and doesn't end up wasting money on stuff like this.

@rockman10: the way I see it, and I concede to it being a negative outlook, is that you should respect your money and the purchases you make. If you (not you... you know what I mean) go in blind and purchase a random game on a digital service, no sympathy will be given from me. It's our job, as consumers, to vote with our money. If we vote for shit, the shit will never go away.

Cases like State of Decay give me hope. A, by most accounts, good game that does extremely well by word of mouth alone (also because it was critically favored by a bunch of large sites, giving it nice bump).

There's going to be shit, no matter what. What Sony needs to do is keep cert where it is so that the shit doesn't outnumber the good games. That was the problem with XBLIG. MS thinks it's self-publishing that caused it to be filled to the brim with garbage, when in reality it was a complete lack of curation.
