OK, seriously, why are there so many couch multiplayer games that aren't getting any console release??? What is the sense in that? I've got to imagine a game like this would sell 5x as much on console as it would on PC.

Seems like a fairly interesting idea that just doesn't seem to live up to it's premise in a fun way?

So I was checking the Steam Marketplace today, and I stumbled upon this: http://steamcommunity.com/market/search?appid=323850

From the looks of it, characters and modes for this game are drops like Hats in TF2? It seems like Dan has all the ones I could see, which he maybe got because of Early Access, but that really seems like a horrible move for what should be a relatively pick up and play party game.

10 Seconds in to the Quick Look: Oh boy, another 4 player competitive/coop game basically designed for streamers that I will never play because I have no friends.

This game just seems kinda shallow honestly. I couldn't see it holding me and my friend's attention for very long.

After watching these guys play it has become obvious to me that the game does a pretty poor job of explaining things, so I'll try to do so here from what I've learned playing myself:

XP is earned only in daily challenges and online. It unlocks skins and game modes, but the game modes are only unlocked in online play. When playing a local party, all game modes are available regardless of if you have them unlocked. (yes, that's real dumb)

If you don't select anything in the 10 seconds they give you to pick game modes it will cycle through them all. This is the way to play. They should really change it so you can filter certain modes out, or give you more than a few seconds to pick more than 6 before the game starts. When I play with friends I just make sure no one touches anything during the countdown.

There's a ton of mods and that's cool. Some okay game mode mods are available, and lots of skins for if you're never going to play online to unlock the official ones. I like the personality of the built-in skins and expressions, but the grind to get them is annoying. All in all I think it's a damn fine couch party game for the money.

This game continues to look boring.

I wonder if you don't select any games at the beginning if it will then cycle all of them?

This feels like I'm watching an extra segment of an UPF. The game is 10000x times more interesting with mods though.

Why does this game have XP? it seems so unnecessary.

Also not a fan of most minigames boiling down to 'dodge the hitbox'

I like the style but there's not a whole lot to it, the bomb mode seems fun but Duck Game seems to offer the same thrills but with a more fun and random overall design. Huge props for having online multiplayer though that doesn't happen in many games of this type.

Never played a single one of these "couch co-op" games. Who can get together 3 other people who play video games and 3 extra controllers, especially on a PC?

Should've just played speed run again and again, it's better than everything else in the game by a wide margin.

Fun game. Always be host. Many of the games are impossible with lag, as it's relying on your position on the host's screen rather than your own.

Dev said all additional official game modes will come free. It needs a lot more modes. Haven't checked out any of the Workshop stuff yet.

This is the worst kind of game for a quick look. As with all recent couch multiplayer games it's just fucking chaos and it's impossible to follow. And since it requires full attention to play it doesn't generate a conversation.

It seems odd there is no "Play all games" mode. That seems like it should be a given.
