Having no story mode was a smart move, but the world tournament with the 3v1 battle is also not really what I was looking for. Would have preferred just regular team battles. That said, I still love the Ninja Storm games, they're great drunk party games.\

CyberConnect 2 makes gorgeous games but they always lack in the music department, the music in the Ninja Storm games is decent and I'm used to it by now but JoJo All-Star battle has the same sort of music which didn't fit the game. Which is a bummer.

Oh man Alex needs to pick Killer Bee! LARIAT!

I like these Naruto games because I looove the way CC2 design and produce BUT I wish they'd get to work on their own stuff more often. Less Ultimataruto Storm Wind and more Asura!!

you know, good on Vinny/Alex for showing off this game and giving it a QL for the site, probably wouldnt have gotten a QL if it wasnt for them.

I'll be honest, I really enjoyed Ultimate Ninja Storm 1-3 (skipped Generations), so I may have to pick this up at some point during the crowded fall schedule.

Had to stop watching because I kept fact-checking/yelling at the screen. Only so long you can yell ''Kabuto'' in the office before HR frowns at you.

Who saw last weeks episode? That ending was so cool!

Man, I thought this was going to be a Dan QL after the excitement on the One Piece QL and I was slightly disappointed when it wasn't. Then heard Vinny and was like 'Alright, Dragon Ball Z style QL!' Then I thought, hey, why not both? Vinny and Dan need to some how get into a room together a record a QL, possibly over a GDC or something. I can see their humour and happy-go-lucky style really suiting each other.

I really ,really like Alex's reactions to anime....Enough where I'd love it to be a feature ( with Dan even), but obviously that would be a legal no-no.

I love Giant Bomb so much.

Yeah these games are the "stopgap", aka "quick cash-in", Naruto games between the numbered titles in the series, i.e. Ultimate Ninja Storm 1,2, 3. The developers seemingly focus more effort on the numbered games, which typically have a substantial story mode (which tells the story of the anime, unlike this game) with nicely animated in-game cutscenes.

But yeah, I don't particularly care for "Ninja World", but I really like "Ninja Escapades". Gameplay is OK, but the visuals are the highlight for me. Some of the attack animations are spectacular.

And yes the Atatsuki are the bad-guys.

"Shall I talk in DragonBall Z terms?" Lol I love that Vinny defaults to that as the standard anime language.

While I'd say it'd be preferable for someone with knowledge on the franchise to do a QL on this, since that's the case with NO ONE on the GB staff, Vinny and Alex's confused antics are the next best thing.
