My favorite part of the story mode that it is has no relation to how you actually play on the court

I finally finished the Spike Lee bullshit last night and man....let me tell you, that shit goes places. Spoilers I guess?

So at the end of your rookie year everyone gets together to pressure you into cutting Vic off because he's an asshole and a terrible influence on your brand. Its ok though because he ends up dying in a car crash running from someone. So at the end you and your sister go back to the projects where your parents still live because you're an awful son. As they leave the court, the fucking ghost of Vic shows up. You can tell hes a ghost because its the same character model they've used so far but he's wearing a white hoodie and sweatpants. He goes on to read a long ass letter for about 10 minutes about how much of a piece of shit he is and how he wanted to bang your mom. Finally, at the end, he sets the letter down, gets up and walks to the middle of the court...then disappears

Then, your actual Myplayer Career starts where you can play through the entire season like past years. Fuck Spike Lee

The roll thing happens all the time in NBA games. The clock doesn't start until someone (besides the in-bounder) touches the ball. it usually only happens towards the end of game (or that's how I'm remembering).

Alex, very few players go to the NBA from high school because they can't. NBA imposed rules mandating all players had to attend college for 1 year prior to entering the NBA, after LeBron's draft year.

Well, they don't have to go to college, they just have to be one year removed from high school. Brandon Jennings played a year overseas after high school instead of college.

No lie: the corniness of the story is reeeeeeeeally appealing to me.

@ghost_cat: It's really bad. I really like the game, but the story is terrible. The only good part is it only lasts for your first season, except for occasional references.

Change to turbo cam, nothing else is playable IMO in my career. 2k cam is ok in that mode, but default is unplayable in any mode.

After last year's NBA Vinny and MMA Jeff I wouldn't have thought it possible, but with NBA Alex we've a new leader in the "Damn, that looks super wrong and creepy." department. The faces fake Alex made in that intro are nightmare fuel.
